Quotes about skull, page 15
And These--Are These Indeed The Rnd
And these-are these indeed the end,
This grinning skull, this heavy loam?
Do all green ways whereby we wend
Lead but to yon ignoble home?
Ah well! Thine eyes invite to bliss;
Thy lips are hives of summer still.
I ask not other worlds while this
Proffers me all the sweets I will.

Feelings Are Like Clouds
if you go by what you feel
you end up changing always
because that is what feelings are,
clouds, air,
water, drops
a feeling is not
a house it
is sand,
it is a face not
a body
it does not
recognize footsteps
it is hair
without a skull

Staring At My Face In The Mirror One Evening
for a long time that i stared
at my face in the mirror
one evening
when the church bell
went ringing
midnight, yes, that was
midnight
i saw my face as a skull
and i was not afraid anymore
i must have been dreaming
i am not sure anymore
was it my soul in the mirror?
i doubt it
it was so white.

Addiction Sweat Fasts
live veins
run red with life
vibrant cells
host soul strife
cut
with cheap kinds
of crap
chemical
home bake flushes
out deathtrap
clay ghost masks
wither crumble
addiction sweat fasts
shiver jumble
flesh dissipates
umbilical tumble fumble

Final Death Bed Redemption?
what is this vision
a human skeleton
praying upon knees?
arms outstretched palms
pressed together skull
raised toward heaven?
is this hope sought
final death bed atonement
redemption salvation?
is this pious final proof
of saint life lead consummation
or final life parted confession?

When the Heart Is Dead
When the heart is dead
The poet should be as well
If he allows verse
To wiggle out of
Bony intellectual crevices
Of the skull
Instead of dripping
From his veins
Like passionate blood
From deeply cut
Emotional wounds
Leaving psychic scars
Surviving for eternity
In the disconsolate universe.

Living Once
This red blood,
is my memory of you.
This red blood between my fingers,
wreath in my skull,
where smoke patterns crease,
till the noise ceases.
Hunting below,
the seas orgasmic purity,
masses of water flexure,
triggering motions in disparity,
having everlasting will in tow,
of expendable expanses.

Monument
A pithy moon
climbs
on a skull
to unmask the alien,
blacker than coal.
A pregnancy reduction
was needed
to prune out
the motor plan of the moving
target, who had-
a neural circuitry
for obstructing
the light. Can you
transcend a prude who will not
accept a celibate?
Not so sad, a beautiful face
abandons the darkness.

Savannah's Cove
I'll be the king of misfits, your the queen of freaks
And i'll wear your crown of thorns upon my skull
I find drifting bodies oddly nurturing
Just pull me into your perfect world
We can hide behind the clouds and escape the night
It's too easy to get lost inside
What's a metaphor for my misery?
These eyes of hope are my disguise

Dim And Divine
A dim car watched by the skull
Is shining its lights for us to lose sight.
This winter we are divine,
As hopping is made a pleasure
From car to car, from vehicle to vehicle.
We are deceitful to ourselves,
When we lose this dimness and reach full light.
A crash occurred and was pre-fabricated,
The cars were switched on for the engines to murmur.
