Songs In The Masque Of Alfred: To Alfred
First Spirit.
Hear, Alfred, father of the state,
Thy genius Heaven's high will declare!
What proves the hero truly great,
Is never, never to despair:
Is never to despair.
Second Spirit.
Thy hope awake, thy heart expand,
With all its vigour, all its fires.
Arise! and save a sinking land!
Thy country calls, and heaven inspires.
Both Spirits.
Earth calls, and Heaven inspires.

The magic of life, like happiness is the byproduct of
The magic of life, like happiness is the byproduct of a great deal of faith, determination, courage, self discipline and love, with direction as well as vision, not just for yourself but for the people you care about and humanity in general. Also being here enough to see the beauty, the paradise in your life, such moments expand creation more than a million big bangs.

Always Read Between The Lines...
pause between
some lines and read
the void
pause some more
and breathe
let the void simmer
let every empty space
sink deeper
find something of weight
and substance
like a word that you wish to expand
and live there for a while
sow the seed
and let it spread like a vine
that is how a good idea
is born
and then see the morning sun

An Ode To Poetry
i am buried in these noise
the demands shout like
market vendors
sometimes one is confused
where to start
seemingly there is no end
to all these bickering
spaces expand
distances travel like fading sounds of the day
there are storms
i am frightened but you
are there
that comforting whisper
to my ear
sweet sounds of sorrow
gentle groans of gypsy
ohh, poetry pampered...

In Wanting To Be A Stone
in wanting to be a stone
an island is formed
rising from the river
a mountain is born
the shores expand
the banks traveled
like a viral disease
wanting to fill the
sea with nothing but
a wide expanse of
sand and pebbles
the feet feels like
some hands touching
a stem filled with thorns
not forgetting the rose
like the way i carry my
loneliness
my emptiness

United Negro College Fund
I'm going to start giving money to the United Negro College Fund.
It will be one of the greatest things that I've ever done.
I want black people to expand their minds and to be all they can be.
I want them to be bursting with knowledge as they accept their degrees.
They'll need a good education in this world they must face.
It's true that a mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Austradamus
I am Austradamus and,
My mind works like the clock!
So watch out for December 21st 2012,
An´d like the bombs of war now falling on us;
But my love will keep on growing.
Watch out for next year! !
For the domino effect of the Arab World will expand forth;
And, it may lead to the end of the world!
Because there are more Dictators arouns us,
And they do not understand the meaning of peace.

Free
I've gotta know
Who takes a life for free?
Some kind of man,
I know would tell her openly
I know your eyes expand
I won't lead you by the hand
I'll ask again,
Please, is there anybody free?
A foreign land
Why won't they speak to me?
Know you're a knuckleduster
And you're caught in a relapse now
With eyes half open and a trail of head crumbs,
Tell me again where you are from.

Peace At Last
Another rocket, another bomb issuing yet more smoke
Buildings falling, dust and rubble, shield your face or choke
More incendiaries that heat the earth
The family of man have no value of life and it's worth
Populations expand, more mouths to feed
Less and less land and it produces more weed
At a time in the future when we are all gone
The earth will sigh and say "thankfully that's all done".
