Shiva 4- Prithvilingam-Kanchipuram
Her act elvish of closing the Lord's eyes
All lives while smothered of darkness
Wild Shiva cursed the Lordess
That Parvathi dark like then pervading darkness
Expiated error on penance by prayers
To Earth-Lingam or Ekambereshwar to redress
Under a mango tree of austere sensors
Unobstructed even by Vegavathi's bursting floods
Retorted the Providence by Her efforts arduous
Truth is beauty flourished Earth when cherished
Of fecundity, fertility healthy, hearty, green swarded
Is truth beauty ruined Earth when perished
Of quake, ache, Drought, clout, blood and flood
What could the reason be else
Than man to commune with godliness
Should hence ever be in compliance
Mother Earth he to idolize
Wishes such the Providence

I'll Be Waiting
I watch the river like a clock
Sunset scallops of pink shells
Moon soon to shine
Breeze as light as whispers
Freedom in the leaves
Trees remind me of sanity
Away from all the shills
Away from the profound
Away from the money changers
Night draws out my muse
Come to me beyond age
No converse
No sordid paragraphs
No conceptions of myth
Bring your penance
Bring your coloring books
Violet sweetness
Red apple apogee

There Is Something In The Soul That Cries Out For Freedom'
'There is something in the soul that cries out for freedom';
There is something in the heart that bleeds for another;
There is something in the mind that wants for equity;
This travesty's exodus from each is needed, for long-sought finality-
To banish forevermore, this all-too-pervasive bother;
But one answer presents more than ever-I need Him!
Should my penance of today hasten this liberty,
I would want for naught else, but that given me;
Alas, freedom purloined by another's whimsy
Is not freedom at all, but fallacious and flimsy;
If need be, I shall bide still, and wait
For time and distance to further abate
What is now overwhelmingly, painfully real;
This is all I may do, until I finally begin to heal!

Charity begins from the heart!
When we think of doing charity,
We have to do it immediately,
Otherwise selfish thoughts emerge,
And will spoil that sprout of kindness,
With herbicidal spray of justification,
That convinces us not to contribute.
When we decide to contribute for the welfare,
We may accumulate a lot of blessings,
Let the receivers feel the dignity of being recognized,
In the hearts of our humble actions,
Not let ourselves to be dignified,
By letting them to feel that they are donated.
We should have the strength to give up our food,
Otherwise we can't fast for health and penance,
We need to have more strength to donate,
Whatever little that we have, to fulfill the need,
Of someone who is in hunger and thirst,
Let us have that strength to prove

My Delicate, Paper Heart
My delicate, paper heart...torn into pieces;
I am desperate to see the day when my pain ceases!
Shredded it was, without even thought, otherwise begotten-
Love you still I do, for pain, I must be a glutton!
A lot of time has past, surely you know now what is real;
Cease now your crusade, allow yurself to heal!
All the pain you did feel, I am afraid, self-inflicted;
To shut your heart to the love you feel-restricted!
I do not know if you will ever know the pain you did cause-
I hope though, next you act in haste, at the least, you pause!
My life has been ruined, by your paranois and fear,
When in fact, it is not I, but you, that should be here!
Life has a way of coming full circle, at times;
Perhaps, as penance, your sentence is contained in my rhymes!

To M. S. G. : When I Dream That You Love Me
When I dream that you love me, you'll surely forgive;
Extend not your anger to sleep;
For in visions alone your affection can live,--
I rise, and it leaves me to weep.
Then, Morpheus! envelope my faculties fast,
Shed o'er me your languor benign;
Should the dream of to-night but resemble the last,
What rapture celestial is mine!
They tell us that slumber, the sister of death,
Mortality's emblem is given;
To fate how I long to resign my frail breath,
If this be a foretaste of heaven!
Ah! frown not, sweet lady, unbend your soft brow,
Nor deem me to happy in this;
If I sin in my dream, I atone it for now,
Thus doom'd but to gaze upon bliss.

Deep Canyon Tree
He had to climb out from
The blue canyon, a boulder
Chained to one leg,
As a communion or penance,
Into the ponderosas above.
But a thunderstorm evolved,
And screeching charges surrounded him.
And the empty spaces glowed.
He found his way out, now bleeding profusely
From the strangling chain,
And fell under old man juniper,
(South of the hiway) , who was very wise,
And spoke to him comfortingly:
'Do not fear death, young man,
For anything that lives faces its ending.'
'I fear the storm, ' he answered.
'Then shelter under my gray-green foliage,
And my somber berries shall protect you. Rub them into your wounds.'
The young man huddled,
Later finished his labor,

Accidently Intentionally
When a man chases your cat in the road intentionally for your cat to get hit.
What are your first thoughts?
How can you prove such claims.
False accusations deface and maim.
With threats upon doing such a thing.
He said, 'your cat cost me my dog, now if I see it I will make sure it also is dead and gone.'
Revenge with a head upon the stake.
It stares at you with a grimace and you know not what to do.
Pain to pain.
The trade of the bane.
A witch doctors calling to the insane.
But his hate is thrust upon that which he loved.
Self severing is vengeance and her penance.
A due for cause.
A due for pause.
But sometimes one is quick not to grieve.
An accident, turns into the intentionally.
Emotions can indeed mislead.
Should forgiveness be given to those who can't forgive?
I will try even as the images of my cat yet horrify.

Anselmo
Years did I vainly seek the good Lord's grace--,
Prayed, fasted, and did penance dire and dread;
Did kneel, with bleeding knees and rainy face,
And mouth the dust, with ashes on my head;
Yea, still with knotted scourge the flesh I flayed,
Rent fresh the wounds, and moaned and shrieked insanely;
And froth oozed with the pleadings that I made,
And yet I prayed on vainly, vainly, vainly!
A time, from out of swoon I lifted eye,
To find a wretched outcast, gray and grim,
Bathing my brow, with many a pitying sigh,
And I did pray God's grace might rest on him--.
Then, lo! A gentle voice fell on mine ears--
'Thou shalt not sob in suppliance hereafter;
Take up thy prayers and wring them dry of tears,
And lift them, white and pure with love and laughter!'
So is it now for all men else I pray;
So is it I am blest and glad alway.

Heart Pure and Wide!
Heart Should be sure,
Nothing is perpetual,
Heart should be true and pure,
Neither the pain nor the happiness,
every thing is of short tenure,
May it be riches
Or it may be penury,
May it be a ailment or an injury,
Whatever acquired will go,
What ever required will follow,
He pays for our needs and we have to pay for our greed!
Galore of thoughts neither save,
Nor the penance and rituals,
Save us only our words and deeds!
Rhapsodical poesy or highflown behaviour can only be a harm,
Only thoughts of loving heart that flow like river the great,
Feeding all along the bank,
