The Cup
Thy cup runneth over
drain, must!
loved one beware
seams fraying, straining
famished, must feast
tasteless fog engulfing all,
loved one beware
grasp, tear, smother
by God,
a thousand Gazelles could'nt,
would'nt
hold thy back
Madam, please prepare

Not only that, but when I first met Joe, to my intense delight, he showed me that he was a collector. He was collecting some of the early Tarzan pages by Hal Foster, and, later, early Flash Gordons; and I found that we were both absolutely interested in the same type of thing.

Truth...Like A Kick To The Head..Hay Ya
Truth! ! ! No longer yearned for
hidden, though ever so present,
hunger for no more..
Time! weathered edges worned
content to witness, feel
afar, your rumblings!
smother, need not no more.
Truth; walk your own way,
support and care..
MY pleasure, MY pain
Can't Deny no more...

Kimberley Spinifex Burning
Travel far we did, thou not forever and ever.
Things, Unspoken conquered, words not
Enough............please! ! !
as I, Hold dear the Unspoken!
Ours to keep in storage; the
tinder and offcuts, now ignited.
That Fire, NO more! Stifled by mans Gods.
Wild and free, let the wind take thee...

Fatal Love
Poor Hal caught his death standing under a spout
Expecting till midnight when Nan would come out;
But fatal his patience, as cruel the dame,
And cursed was the weather that quench'd the man's flame.
Whoe'er thou art that reads these moral lines,
Make love at home, and go to bed betimes.

Our Kiss
lightly brushing, gentle as possible......
teasing, to and froe
gazing....
anticipating-hurting
souls dancing....
longing to merge
gazing....
bridge we must cross
to the ethereal,
lost or home?
don't think
put it this way!
if the bridge cannot be crossed,
then we are just two ety vessels swapping spit

Spad
This pain is too great
been kicked in the guts
bashed and stabbed, lovers gone-
all my fault; march on, all left to do!
But those eyes; -
my workmates
Partners, Sons and Daughters
hopes and dreams
flash up in that hallwayed
passed unspoken moment....
But those eyes; - 'they've done me in'
what if's...
all isee, all i see

I had no idea how difficult Sondheim's music would be. All through the rehearsals, I kept flubbing. There were so many tempo changes. I could never get through the opening number without any mistakes. One day, I went up to Hal Prince and offered to leave the show. He laughed it off. He said, ""Don't be silly. That's why we have tryouts.""

Eons Searched
our journeys crossed paths eons ago
forced apart, reasons lost!
dust wearied travellers, searching
constantly, never truly fitting-
every do over; something not quite right;
chance was it? we meet again...
recognition could not be denied-
the unknowing knowledge
dared not be challenged;
the watch towers of passion alight
further testament to- this!
moment, here, now,
once again
ours- until time decides

If could in words
If in words I could,
I’d use them to describe heaven’s gate.
And how I crossed them with you last night.
If in words I could,
I’d sing to the love you brought
To my speechless, fluttering heart.
If in words I could,
I’d write the deepest sonnet,
Proving once and for all my love.
But I cannot with poor words,
So I will use my every strength
To prove my adoration til
To death my life succumbs.
