Classic Sarcasms
I admire those who diligently work,
At that which they do best.
I remember as a young child,
There was one neighbor I would love to pest.
I don't know if she had been psychic.
But on a number of occasions,
She would open her door before I would knock.
'YES? And what do you want, now? '
She would bare her teeth in a toothy growl.
Or she would say, 'You are annoying.
Would you please go away? '
~But, is Johnny home? I want to play.~
'Thank God he's not. You're a pesty little snot.'
~And you are...~
The door would slam.
And I ran.
I remember one time,
Jenny Jay said to me...
'Why don't you children stay in your own apartment.

Go Slow
Why you get your Gucci's in a bunch,
Because some folks...
Are out to lunch.
And they want to crunch and munch,
On little biddy pieces of your weakness.
Why let them squeeze you into a heat,
Untill you're gritting all of your teeth.
You would allow each one to be pulled,
Without amnesia just to please.
Then a dripping of foam is released...
As a deep growl is heard.
Begin to sing songs you know they know,
And can hum along.
Carry chocolate kisses.
And with this you can't go wrong.
Or...
Do the electric slide,
With steps you know are easy.

Wonder Poem
She was a rockhard
Firm chassied, sleek
Chic, two toned
Wonder of a poem
Her smile could
turn you on a dime
Make you feel that
You've been left undone
She had a way
with her words
That made me
smile now in my tears
Her rear end
Never shimmied
Her trunk never
left undone

Nature Trail
At the bottom of my garden
There's a hedgehog and a frog
And a lot of creepy-crawlies
Living underneath a log,
There's a baby daddy long legs
And an easy-going snail
And a family of woodlice,
All are on my nature trail.
There are caterpillars waiting
For their time to come to fly,
There are worms turning the earth over
As ladybirds fly by,
Birds will visit, cats will visit
But they always chose their time
And I've even seen a fox visit
This wild garden of mine.
Squirrels come to nick my nuts
And busy bees come buzzing

Goodmorning!
I see the hand of the time creep
When half the world is asleep
And the moon in the silent night
Fading into the rising daylight
I see an owl with her fearful face
Perching from place to place
And rats on the deserted street
Not caring whom they meet,
Fighting and gnashing in a ratlike brawl
Dogs bark and growl
Sniffing and digging the ground
And chasing bitches as the go merry round
I hear goats bleat in the dark corner
And bats flying in a zigzag manner
Temperature drops
Weting every surface with dewdrops
I hear cock crow in a distance
And a chorus not far from where i stand
And mourning doves mourn
A solemn tune for the waking morn

Hitchhikers
Hitchhikers
If any man going to office
requested him for a lift,
he would growl at him
and say, " Sorry, I don't have
one more helmet for you"
and race down as in a rally.
If any disabled man
signalled him for the pillion,
" Sorry friend, I had a stroke
Last month and I can't balance",
He would mumble
And slide away in silence.
If any old man or woman
Pleaded for carrying him
To the nearby Bus-Stop,
" You tottery, go by taxi.
Suppose you fall down

First Adventure
Two tigers traipsed their jungle jaunt,
With nothing else in sight,
The universe itself to taunt
And ready for a fight!
It didn't matter, great or small,
For neither tiger cared,
This was their moment, walking tall,
Their first adventure shared!
So stride for stride they strutted forth,
Exploring, come what may,
Yes, forward east, west, south or north,
Until the end of day...
Together, proud and jubilant,
Triumphant tigers still,
It didn't matter where they went
And, boy, was it a thrill!
Their first adventure, on the prowl,
No Mum and Dad in tow,

The Best Service
O! Friends, where have gone the old preachings,
Of the divine prophets and of the saints teachings?
Why has Man averted His eyes, His heart and face,
And has followed the direction that leads to disgrace?
Why has Man made gods, Money, Silver and Gold
To the Eternal Enemy He very cheap His soul has sold?
Why does He worship them chasing His perdition,
Against the voice of conscience, Divine Admonition?
Why does He usurp and snatch the rights and shares,
Of others, making the world a muddle full of cares?
No prophet and no celestial book will now descend,
Then who is, the responsibilities, the duties to attend?
Allow not Man to advance to the zone dismal, dark;
Where the loins growl, the wolves howl, the dogs bark.

Unexpressed Cries
(Written on the deaths of infants when Israel attacked Palestine)
O! I came into your world
Not with my own will
I was sent here by God
From the better calm world
Or dragged by my parents
To realize their dreams.
The strangers’ arms rock me,
Who sings lullaby to put me asleep
Where are my own dad and mom?
They do not kiss my cheeks
Who are these who weep,
And dropp warm tears on my forehead
Free of wrinkles?
What are the sounds,
That I have been hearing,
Since birth,

Lion Cub
To study him, as he was now,
You'd think that he looked swell.
This lion cub with wrinkled brow
Was known to cast a spell...
Your first impressions are misled,
For he's no gentle soul...
Just tired out, with weary head,
Till he regains control...
Once back on form, he's set to pounce!
He's on all fours again!
As if on springs, he'll leap and bounce
Before he counts to ten!
This little jewel is known to prowl
And ambush suddenly...
He even makes his Mother growl,
While Dad stares solemnly...
But does he care, displaying shame?
Does he observe their rules?
