What Most See As Most Important
What most see as most important not all that it does seem
They swear by fame and money as being good for their self esteem
Material things serve the ego the ego in us all
And the ego is a thing of pride and pride comes before a fall
If money made people happy there would not be an unhappy millionaire
Though many wealthy people do seem burdened by care
'Tis true that greed breeds more greed and much always wants more
And one might say these are things that we've often heard before
Most of the very wealthy people are not laughing all day long
Whilst in the bathroom showering they do not burst into song
So many wealthy people even find it hard to smile
And some of them even wonder is living life worthwhile?
They swear by fame and money as being good for their self esteem
But what most see as most important not all that it does seem.
