i am here
hiking
with back pack
full of books
hunting stillness air
above Caloocan
mountain heights
i see then
nearby hills
away from asphalt frozen heat
too innocent yet
as the trees
ready to cut
by DPWH for road widening
the loud cry of chainsaw
awakening my presence
