Struck Down With A Thunderbolt
On the day
Adolf Hitler
was born
why did God
not strike
him down
with a thunderbolt?
And thereby do
six million Jews
doomed
to be gassed
terminated
in the final solution
and all their
descendants
his chosen people
doomed never to be born
a merciful favour
by killing the little demon
incarnate before he
grew up to seize
tyrannical power?
Why did God
not strike
him down
and do an entire world
a merciful favour
by killing Adolf Hitler
before he deliberately
absorbed that demon
into himself from within
