Words of the morning
Of the distant longing
For the adventure of setting out again
For the sunlit road
And the long long way between
Where one is now
And where one will be tomorrow-
Words of the morning
For the long road
For the setting out again
Fpr the adventure of life
And the need to be somewhere different
From where one is now-
Words of the morning
For the long adventure
Inside as I sit writing this
Longing for the fresh air and the open road outside
Beyond my locked door.
