A Tired Old Man/ Lifts Himself Up
A TIRED OLD MAN/ LIFTS HIMSELF UP
A tired old man
Lifts himself up
With a few small lines-
A poem can lift the soul
as bars of iron cannot.
But the body- the body-
All the poems in the world
Are not worth
One good breakfast.
