The Silence Of The Skies
the silence of the skies is as old
as the presence of space
expanding
engulfing what it sees
familiar as they are
to chaos
resolving to disorder dissipating
into another
separate universe
the same silence that i keep
to everything i have to everything that i give up
there is no more keeping
secrets dissolving life unfolding and then gone
to join the masses of history
the presence is always there
the future always as always coming
we stand here we stand here
we are not waiting.
