I Am A New Word
i am a new word
to the vocabulary of the flesh
and the soul
they all live in me for this moment
and slowly i must define myself
gently i must touch the beauty of my soul
with the mortal hands of my body
there must be a way
to harmonize light and darkness
living in twilight
in the land where light and darkness meet
where love and hate embrace
where heaven and earth kiss
i am a new word
and in my heart and mind i must define myself
