How Do You Show Me The Power Of Your Love?
will it be the whirlwind to begin with
one that takes away everything from me?
will it be the strong and heavy rain
one that floods me away from where i live?
will it be the sun? one that dries me as a river bed
one that cracks the soil of my life?
will it be the moon? one that is full and yet so cold?
show me the power of your love
let it be just a smile, a slight touch of your hand to my hand,
let it just be a tap on my shoulder when you say goodbye
let it just be a word of consolation
show me the power of your love
show me the intricate ways so that i may learn the art
of finally forgetting you
you, who already belong to the sun, the moon and the stars.
