A Long Long Time Ago
a long long time ago
i agree with you
is a long long time ago
things perish
and those fragile like porcelain
shatter into negligible pieces
and on the ground
everything may cover and conceal
like the grass
or the dust or even a heap of leaves
and i
on this day of our meeting may also pretend
that those of the past
are of the past
and shall no more arise and be ghosts that shall
haunt me
but no, you are face to face with me and we do not mention
the word about it
yet the lines of our thoughts show
on the eyebrows
and they speak about the pain
the broken piece
staying like a thorn, a fish bone,
it is still refusing to leave
and you are scratching it
wanting for cure
