Days Old

Days have gone by for the better,
Weeks vanish now that they have formed.
The beginnings of life exist for me
As if my soul has been exposed.
The baby has spoken, for the baby can mutter,
And this child in me is a good profession
Of laughter and joy, over the rainbow.
This is golden of my marvels,
The men who retain and the women to understand,
Like babies would, like children can,
Like the baby-world.
