Your' Rule of Thumb
I'm the LIAR?
When?
Where?
Prove it!
And when you're done microscoping,
What I have exposed?
Do not apologize to me.
Don't do that!
Please.
Since I am accustomed to being accused as such.
Apologize to the generations of folks,
You've taught to follow...
'Your' rule of thumb,
To accuse,
With no research being done!
I may exaggerate!
But I do not embellish my achievements.
That's why I publicly document each one!
To be announced from the horse's mouth!
IF I were to embellish,
And relish in the embellishment of doing it...
I'd adorn a cape and a mask.
Swing from a vine in African jungles.
Or tell my version of how the West was won!
Without one colored face among the cavalry.
'There are no colored faces among them! '
Well...
Those are not 'exactly' MY achievements.
I did say IF I were to embellish my achievements!
Which I don't.
IF I had participated?
Of course...
All of them would be faces of color!
From MY perspective.
And I 'guess' that's why some folks,
Do not perceive themselves as liars.
They are giving 'their' perspective on things!
Life!
And what is 'assumed' to be right.
