You Told Me to Shut Up
Why can't you shut up,
And let me say something?
You've always got something to say...
About something or somebody,
Who does not see life your way.
Everyday...
That's all I hear.
Words from you I can not get out of my ears.
Even what you're doing right now,
Irritates.
Don't think for a moment I am easy bait!
Or victim to your ways of escalating quick debate.
I know exactly what you're doing.
'Which is...
What?
You told me to shut up! '
Yeah!
But...
Why do you have to be,
So good at it!
