How Long Should The Last Laugh Take
Their challenge?
To unwind themselves,
From their own entanglements.
My challenge?
To do the best I can,
Not to smile too broadly.
The challenge we face together?
Deciding if forgiveness pays.
Since forgetting is out of the question!
And how long should the last laugh take?
Ten.
Twenty.
Or thirty years?
