Continuing For All To Experience
A mess done to undo too late,
As is the custom.
Only adds more to the debate,
When new arrivals view potential...
As others stubbornly will convince,
That a waiting to make the right decision...
Is more advantageous to the prospect,
Of collecting more tax revenue...
To whatever is done to redo and renew.
Although...
At the expense,
Of a rapidly declining quality of life...
Continuing for all to experience.
'We first must select a committee,
To draft a bill to propose...
For an appropriate addendum,
That follows the guidelines...
Of the original documentation,
That oversees the content...
Adopted with intention,
As to not to offend those who first...
Came upon these shores,
To fight for those entitlements...
We now enjoy! '
~Excuse me,
But...
When was that? ~
'Back in the sixteen hundreds.
That's the problem we face.
No one seems to want to address,
'Our' history.'
