Quest and Request
I read somewhere a soul searching request
He must be honest in his drive and quest
What puzzled more was his pursuit?
In no way it justified and suit
How come a ill willed person asks fellow person?
How come he asks for the solution with reasons?
As if he has done with known intentions
And now presents himself with all excuses and retentions
I don’t know what answer he might have got for his satisfaction
But main worries remained unanswered and posed a question
How come soul can be cleaned from stains?
That was done all over the years with sins
I think person could have addressed it directly
As he searched it among friend circles ineptly
He could get little hint or direction for all worries
As it was not possible to leave with heavy load and carry
It is ridiculous to ask for reprieve after committing sins
How come anybody can grant a pardon when it is seen?
I consider it clever ploy to cheat even our God father
Who has done so much for whole universe and promised not to bother
There is no other go than to surrender
There is no discrimination for any gender
He is kind and merciful to all
Only we have to demonstrate and scale the wall
What pulls us back from known evils?
Is it simply a ignorance or happy drill?
Where you rehearse before going for act
And wait for the result in fact
You need to forget once act is performed
You are well aware and informed too
There is no going back for what you did
You got to pick threads and make clean lead
Struggle not for what you think might be bad
It may sometimes compel you to think and make sad
Yet it is done in good faith and needs no remorse
But prayer with clear heart is needed of course
