Adamant and rigid

I was adamant and very rigid
Mind full of uncertainty and ideas very fluid
Would care for nobody and disregard
It was proving difficult and very hard

No one dared to touch my heart
Though I looked handsome and smart
Not even ugly girls tried any attempt to flirt
I was reserved yet very conscious and alert

I was fond of natural love and cared
For total disregard I would have not dared
It was amounting to no faith in almighty
I was unsure and that was biggest pity

I would look towards sky and silently pray
Something was secretly urging me to my dismay
Not that I was holding views to the contrary
These facts were known to me and very necessary

I longed for delicate touch and warmth
There was no chance for it to come forth
Sincerely I had not tried it for many years
Whisper was hardly known to the ears

I will attempt to look at lovely birds
Their presence will appease me when voices heard
“What a sweetness and pleasant surprise” I will guess
Will there not be any sunrise?

Any cruel man will have heart pulse
He will not be in position to repulse
If you need to be near to His presence
These are ingredients or essence

I thought for a while and looked around
The environment was beautiful and naturally found
I must go back to nature and reassure
My favored place in silence for sure

I shall make it as first attempt and succeed
It is essential and I certainly need
Who can survive with barren thoughts?
On reckless issues war can not be fought

I would zoom over tree branches
Shake them up with mild punches
I wondered how I could remain for long in isolation
There was no need to have preferred such relation
