Sonnet: The Love of God
The love of God knew us ’fore conception;
That love gave us a human form at birth;
God’s love remains free from all deception;
The same protects and guides our lives on earth.
The love of God is unilateral;
Man can’t reciprocate the love of God;
The love of God for man is eternal;
The same grants mercy and a divine rod!
Could God then watch man lead a shattered life?
Does God want souls to land in hell’s abyss?
Would God forsake man in moments of strife?
The Maker wants all souls attain His bliss.
Why does then man forget Almighty God?
We ought to live as per His every word.
