Can the Anti-corruption Crusade Work?
If noble be your profession,
And noble be your fighting cause,
Mere fasting may not help you much
To cleanse society off evils!
Rich man can't fight for poor man's sake!
He ought to share his wealth, then fight;
A smoker shan't advise others;
Let him give up his smoking first!
When you have joined politics, then,
Your anti-corruption struggle,
Can't bring you victory anytime,
For you have joined the corrupt side!
Not all can become Gandhijis!
Non-violence does not work these days;
Self-sacrifice and example
Help you to lead a just struggle!
But can you make the sea salt-free?
Then you must make rivers salty!
Earth cannot turn a paradise,
As long as men remain selfish!
All forms of rule are imperfect;
No man is content with less wealth;
But men are never satisfied;
Corruption is a global vice!
All you can do is mitigate
The evil to a harmless state;
But only those who are not rich
May hope to gain a victory!
Too much of anything is bad;
All feats need supreme sacrifice;
As price of human life is less,
Unborn get murdered in the womb!
