Quotes about the color of racism

Racism

We dont like you cause youre black
We dont like you cause youre white
Judging people by their color
Knowing that its wrong not right
Burning crosses on the lawns
Killing jews in nazi camps
Apartheid in South Africa
The government dont give a damn
Niggers, crackers, jews and spics
Words the devil likes to use
Hate is gonna slit your throat
Hold your ground dont be abused
The time is now to make a stand
Raise your fist dont run and hide
Fight the devil take a stand
Black and white stand side by side
Racism - take a stand
Racism - hold your ground
Racism - keep the faith

Jaundiced Eye

Black is beautiful, white is so pure
Can you see a difference? all I sees a blur
Is one color a virtue how can you be sure
Ignorance the disease education the cure
So how can you say that your proud of your race
Proud of your bender
Or proud of your faith
Fascism racism all starts out the same
Stop feeding the fire and smother the flame
Some people are smarter than others so dumb
The reason behind this a cultural one
And greatness isnt carried by blood
So get off your high horse
Youre no better than us
All seems infected that the infected spy
As all looks yellow to the jaundiced eye
Youre the infected you can never deny
Youre arrogant, youre insolent, youre living a lie

Racism In Poetry

Prejudice cannot be hidden,
Arrogance for the color of skin.
Its ugly head is here again
Racism is lurking within.

Disguised as mere poetry
Seething hatred shouts,
Name calling carelessly-
Gangrene inside out.

Our blood is all red-colored
Our hearts all colored rainbow,
Racist poems you authored
Your character, they show.

I was not brought up to be mean,
To racism I am not bent,
If that's where you have been
It's such a waste of your talent.

I Am Responsible.... (Poet's Heart)

i am responsible....
for the child dying of starvation,
whatever color, whatever country.
for the young Muslim child alone,
his family killed by the bombs.
for the addict shaking on the street corner,
for the young girl selling her body
on that same corner.
for the family kicked out of their house,
who have nowhere to go.
for the young angry men in prison,
for the victims of the crimes.
for the stink of poverty,
and the abuse of wealth.
for the planes, the bombs,
the guns and the flags...
for the political prisoners who spoke out.
for the elderly going without food and lights,
trying to pay for their medicine.
for the victims of racism and prejudice,

A scale to measure

With accuracy sea depth can be measured
Loyalty and honesty too can be assured
May be air miles can be with another scale
How can we measure the mind which is stale?

Simple bullet can pierce through your wall
On morality ground you may witness fall
How can you prove you’re self as honest and best?
Is there any caliber device for proving the test?

Well, we may have different yardstick to judge
Person can be honest even if he is rogue
He may be idol in so many people’s mind
Such parallel is not heard or you may not find

You may have enough of wealth to be assessed
You may have no guilt to be confessed
You can profess your ideology in open field
It may certainly influence the result to yield

Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Is In Heaven

Brother Martin was assassinated at a very young age.
Intelligent and determined; he was a wise sage.
I am convinced that he is definitely the only man
In Heaven.

Bro. Martin fought for everybody’s civil rights, regardless of race,
Color, gender, origin, etcetera, etcetera. He is in a better place
Right now, I feel that he is the only man
In Heaven.

Brother Martin was a very dedicated disciple of Jesus Christ,
Who did not fight back, but he was stronger than ice;
He was a peaceful warrior. I know that he is the only man
In Heaven.

There is a lot that one can say and write about this legend.
He had many dreams and great visions, He knew how to blend
Fiction and reality. He was a man of ideas and actions.
Brother Martin is in Heaven working on different transactions.

A Beauty That Has Ceased To Flourish

I am Black...
AND patriotic.
When I say it,
It is disbelieved.
This country has more meaning to me,
Than depleting it with deception.
Or stuffing myself with greed.

As a child I was taught principles I respect.
And when I joined the military,
I was a 'kid' willing to give my life to protect.
And not one person can deny,
I have not shown to do my best.

I've been a victim of disparities.
Racism and neglect.
And I've been declared overqualified,
By those who 'gave' positions...
To those who couldn't pass tests.
Did I get upset?

Engrossed and Trapped

They feel the freedom to express the affects,
Of today's racism.
As technologies advance.
To leave mindsets like these...
Engrossed and trapped within their insecurities.

One would never believe these conversations breed,
This kind of attention in the year two thousand and ten.

There seems to be more focus on one's color of skin.
By ignorant radio talk show hosts...
Being paid top dollar,
To use the airwaves to solicit a hatred...
That validates the feelings of those who listen.

Whites who describe themselves,
As disliking blacks, browns and jews.
Are given this kind of authorized soapbox...
To discuss their self righteousness.
And who should live as they choose.

If The Truth Be There...Tell It

The strength of America,
Was built on the backbone
Of those of color.
Those who paved the railroads...
Chinese, Mexicans, Indians and Blacks.
And slaved in the fields.
The Irish know that these are facts.
Indentured slaves...
Many of them were.
While the 'others' found ease in comfort!
And doing what they feel.
While they imported relatives...
To begin nepotism deals.
Some with no English spoken at all.
And their ancestors made sure,
They were not the ones to sweat.
While ignorance at a time ran rampant...
To create today's regrets!
And that is the history,
Often not told...

People Submerged In Their Insecurities

People submerged in their own insecurities,
Have a constant need to speak of one's race.
Constantly!
And...
The color of one's skin.
And who is responsible for today's racism.
With deceitful confessions,
That these are not part of their 'sins'.

They are!
And that's why they wish to keep it identified.
They are,
Themselves...
On the dark side.
And doing it absent of color.
Or the lack of it shown!

They are...
People submerged in their own insecurities.
And people like these,
