Quotes about snap

I'd Like To Practice Harmony

I'd like to snap you back,
To a place,
We had!

I'd like to snap you back,
To a time before delusions.

I'd like to snap us back,
When we were happy and glad.

I'd like to snap us back!
And awaken from delusions.
I'd like to practice harmony...
And get more of that!

I'd like to snap us back!
And awaken from delusions.
I'd like to practice harmony...
And get more of that!

Snag It From The Root

Snap and snag it from the root.
Use every resource you have got.
Clip and snip,
To replant.
If that's what you have to do!

Make up your mind,
You will do all the weeding that's done.
Make up your mind,
You will do all the weeding that's done.
Make up your mind,
You will do all the weeding that's done.
From Sunrise until Sunset comes.

Snag it back and get it from the root.
You can snap it back from the root.
Crack it back until you get the main thing done.
You can snag it from the root!

Snap,

Mothers Night

Oh, people killing people
Kings to conquer kings
Always in the seeker
Taking the light
Away from me
Death comes to the seeker
And death comes to the fool
Death comes to us all one day
Let the river of time swim over you
Oh swim over you
Oh time swim over you
Mother fighting mother
Children killing kings and kings and children too
(help! I cant figure this one out!)
Playin a different tune
The music binds them ho
The music binds them all
The music binds them
(another line to figure out)
Stronger than the chain gang

Dont tell me to snap out of it

Dont tell me to snap out of it

Why must you Tell me this?
The same thing day in day out.
Just snap out of it.
Its easier said than done.
When one has been in such
Emotional pain.
Lost in their fears
Not noing which way to go.

Im so very low
And all you can say is
Just snap out of it
Dont be stupid.

Why must you be so blind?
Its not so easy to do
Just snap out of it.

Neurotica

Words by neil peart, music by geddy lee and alex lifeson
You just dont get it
What it is...well, youre not really sure
You move like youre walking on this ice
Talking like youre still insecure
Time is a spiral -- space is a curve
I know you get dizzy, but try not to lose your nerve
Life is a diamond you turn into dust
Waiting for rescue, and I know you just
Dont get it
You just dont get it
Neurotica -- exotica
Its just erotica -- hypnotica
Its just psychotica -- chaotica
Its just exotica -- neurotica
You just dont get it
Baby, dont you ask yourself why?
If you dont like the answer -- forget it
You know I hate to see you cry
Fortune is random -- fate shoots from the hip

Paparazzi

Paparazzi, cant make the man.
Paparazzi, cant break the man.
Next to the transit lounge
See the paparazzi tears.
No-one came in today
From boston or tangiers.
And in departures ---
Only faceless trippers trip,
Loaded with duty free
Held in white knuckle grip.
Snap it up, flash away ---
Steal a camel for a day.
Break the story in heavy type ---
The news is running late tonight.
Be-decked with nikon necklaces
Hear the paparazzi cries.
Under their noses walk
The famous in disguise.
Conspicuously huddled there
But no-one stops to look.

Fresh, Tinned or Frozen

Father was a snap bean,
that's all, Sis,
nothing more.
Fresh, tinned or frozen,
the greens of snap beans vary.

Neighbors in the yard,
clerks at the store,
folks at church,
you and me and bawling Ma,
for years we fed his strange chameleons

so we can swear, on the Bible,
Father was a snap bean,
that's all, Sis.
Nothing more.
Fresh, tinned or frozen.

Sugar Snap Peas

Sugar snap peas,
I plant thy rods.
To enable your journey...
With tentacles to grab tight.
In this garden,
You will make home.

Search as you climb and bloom.
Roam and stretch within the room,
You make yours and ascend!
Sugar snap peas...
Near fresh soiled cucumber seeds.
Growing with you slow...
To enhance the sweet organic taste!
Tp please separately,
Or in a fixed mixed blend.

On this day in the month of May.
In late Spring...
The sunset will bring,

Black And White Makes Grey...

If I was to snap my fingers and everyone turned black
How would we be any different from one another?
If I was to snap my fingers and everyone turned white
How would we be any different from one another?
We wouldn't be different.
We could walk down the street
and no one would 'think' any differently.

So all the discrimination and deaths over the years
are just superficial?
Please tell me that people are not that shallow..
tell me that all those people didn't die
just because they have more melanin in their skin
or because their eyes were a different shape..
or because their hair is curly.
Tell me people didn't die just because
I didn't snap my fingers.
If I had, and we were all the same colour..

A Summer's Picnic with Details

On an early summer's day
we drove along on a gravel road
in the month of june, which comes after may
we drove for miles and miles, from our zip code

in the jeep was just my love and i
far back into the country, we laughed, we rode
where the summer sun plays in the big blue sky
where the cool rivers flow and flow, we happily rode

brought my camera for a few pics,
in the sweet summer sun- some cool pics
wildflowers, buttercups and dandelion pictures
bringing back some just for my friends, plus my sisters

then a lone horse by a fence, no two
then "oh wow look! it's a field of jersey cows! "
we zoomed past the cornfields, where the crows flew
past the bright red barn and the old country house too
