Gazing At The Sky

As I lie upon my rooftop, gazing at the sky
The only thing my mind will wonder is why, why, why
Why are there no birds soaring through the sky
The only thing my eyes can spy are black bats dashing by, doing the things they do
Why is the Moon so bright tonight
Perhaps to keep me stirring and gaping at the blue

Band on the roof

Out of their offices people came running,
men in dark suits and ladies in Macs.
Some of them stumbling, some of them screaming,
some of them clapping and some holding back.

Running towards the block where it came from,
high on a rooftop, as if from the Gods.
The Beatles were playing our favourite music,
uniting the town, yes even the toffs.

Boredom faded as hearts seemed to dance
down the wet pavements where young girls all pranced.
Watching the rooftop for signs of the band
all feeling the love, yes imagine that!

Big mouths & glass jaws

So many people
with big mouths,
and glass jaws.
When they talk they don't make words
Their mouths just clank and clatter.
Like some useless machine that is half broken.

People whom life has barely touched.
These untouched, new car smelling, un-scarred f#ckers,
THEY are ALWAYS the ones offering the advice
to those who have been bitten once or twice
by bad decisions or just bad luck...

They offer their pop psych advice
(most likely some sh^t they picked up from some professor, somewhere.)
Through their perfect, glass, teeth.
People who don't even know what it is like
to take a fist to the face.
THEY are the ones that incessantly
'Clank, click, clack' out their 'advice'.

the steam engines
puffed powerful steam
reaching up

and you stood there
hands in your pockets
your nose sniffing in

I Wonder How Am I a Poet?

No great language skill,
No sufficient vocabulary,
No grip of grammar,
Frequent spelling mistake,
no laptop or desktop,
Only I will be Sometimes on rooftop,
Monkey mind jumps from rooftop
to next treetop,
Shaking bunches of fruits,
Only words fall from tip of leaves like dewdrops!

Winged feelings fly above clouds
What ever molten heart put words in different molds!
No resource,
only a second hand phone I use,
my heart is my only source!

I think some words to type,
it types something different
