Researching of Your Rebirth

None of it has been rehearsed.
The researching of your rebirth.
Every detail of it has been lived.
And moments of it,
You had felt neglected and cursed.

No steps first awakened,
Came with ease.
No temptation tasted,
Lasted to please.
Few you met...
Had souls complete,
Of truth and honesty.
Although you held onto the myth...
Everyone you knew,
Was born with a goodness,
To free joy and happiness...
Within them existed

My request

If my request is acceded to and offered rebirth
I will ask for it with inclusion of death
That will constantly remind the futility of life
Something to be feared of double edge of knife

What will I do if offered or given a chance?
What will be my first priority at once?
Will it be for amassing wealth?
Or maintaining high status with good health

None of it either for silly cause
It is not asked for making same use
It is for something new and innovative
Life with aim, to be precise and very subjective

I would air lovely music in air with lovely peace message
That may be liked by the groups of different ages
I may compose verses that may remain for years to come
Read by all alike and recite it to welcome

Metamorphosis

Valerie is somehow made aware
As new age dawns, fair feelings open gate.
Longings, soul sating, heartache dissipate.
Energy can focus everywhere, -
Voyage into light and laughter. Share
Always bright emotions and create
Link which chains not, may anticipate
Evolution understanding where
Rebirth rings needed changes, softens care.
Instincts can expand to celebrate
Entwining beginnings, - secondary state.
Visions of serenity prepare,
And opportunities for future fair.
Life looks not back: let Fate precipitate
Events, as metamorphosis Hope's gate
Reopening, offers dreams intense and rare.
Idyll ideal's no mirage as free spirits start
Enchanting voyage, may a new world chart...

Once dead, the album of memory is dead.
A rebirth given cannot resurrect it.
Without memory carried over
The next birth cannot be a rebirth.

Death is sleep

The night does not weep
That it is about to die
When the Sun is about to rise,
Unaware of its rebirth though.

In my case I weep
That I am about to die
When the time comes
Despite the faith in rebirth.

Death is a long sleep.
Sleep is a short death.
Memory lives after the sleep
Memory dies after the death

The seer and the beggar.

Ego battered, bereaved of kith and kin,
Bereft of worldly things, a beggar dies
With no wish, no curse and no regrets;
That amounts to detachment of the world.

Ego nursed, blessed with devotees,
Proud of being humble, can a seer die
With no wish, no curse and no regrets,
To confirm to detachment of the world?

More than the seer, it is the beggar
Who is fit to dispense with rebirth.
Can you follow the path of the beggar?
Is there salvation sans humiliation?

A seer is proud he leads you to God.
You are proud you follow him to God.
You both want to leave your names behind.
With the love for the world after your exit,
Can you hope that you avoid rebirth?

Nothing ends, every thing is a beginning by itself

We often feel that
This is the end of it
And call it a day
We need to realise
What apparently ends
Is a thread for a new
And unknown beginning
Even death, the ultimate termination
Is not an end
If you believe in rebirth
The soul departed is going
To take up a new shape
In its attempt to meet and grab
The unmet dreams in its previous form
Even in case of no-rebirth-situation
It marks and paves the way for
A new beginning
For those left behind
To start living without the
Deceased person

Winds of rebirth

The invirogating winds
Of sweet rebirth are blowing
Our noble sons and daughters are
Drinking from the great well
Of united opposition of fighting
Over trivial things
The early morning breeze comes
To comfort your children great
Mother Africa
The beautiful sea wind opens
Her loving heart to you mother
The North wind of peace asks
You to be merciful Mother Africa
And teach us to love one another

And I... Et in Arcadia Ego Fui - Thesis and Antithesis

Exacting wrinkled tribute line by line,
Time moulds the tale of each unfolding year,
Entrancing for a spell, til tumbling tear
Gouges ruts, cuts trembling Columbine.
Old age advances, hope must undermine.
Insubordinate to fard soon fears
Neath cold creams mushroom, one by one appear
As added sores when worries serpentine,
Respect refusing riches. Cheques can’t sign
Contentment, winter chimney, summer cheer.
At last, with hoary beard and bitter bier.
Descendant is the star which proud would shine.
It is no tree of life that rings the earth,
And I in shadows walk, yet fear rebirth...

Entrance for a spell can also bring
Timeless memories mind may rebirth,
Enraged entrapment caged, as from paged berth
Guard lifted, sentry spurned, free soul shall spring
Over, above man's mortal limits, sing
