They can correct your
Discolored, coffee-stained teeth.
They can realign
Them when they are crooked,
Slightly out of place,

Even in Hell You Got to Pay Rent

At the corner of Freedom and Justice,
Some resign and some realign,
In Change Square you see the reflection,
Of signs reading 'We Welcome Defection, '
Pressure building, the nation fragile,
Walking through land mines you got to be agile,
Influential Generals and Tribal Leaders,
Standing by a red bed of bleeders,
After hearing ten thousand lies,
It's hard to compromise,
The situation looking ghoulish,
The Devil Leader looking foolish,
Even in Hell you got to pay rent,
If you live in a castle or live in a tent.

Pigments of the Imagination

Each phrase reflects some pixels placed
upon life’s screen by chance, design,
transparently. Line after line
conjures emotions each may taste –
some strictly corseted strait-laced,
some freely, as a heady wine
fresh from Pierian Spring, decline
to phase too narrowly define.
Senses pillowed, interlaced,
symbols interact - none chaste,
none wanton in itself, each sign
dimensions adds to realign
emotions, clause to cause embrace.

We w[e]ave a wor[l]d which patters patterns to
frame-form fair image dedicated, true.

Perfect World

We can realign the stars if you just close your eyes.
We can watch the skies like we did before.
Happiness is when you wake up in the morning still thinking you are in a dream from the night before.
Happiness is when you breathe the perfume of flowers not noticing their backdropp against the luscious carpet of emerald meadows.
Happiness is following the intrinsic requests of your heart and soul and happy in the idea that you are doing what your heart desires most.
While all around you the mighty world strikes at the portal to your very being, essence of yourself.
Happiness is feeling that you’re only a small example of a grand creation yet still feeling higher than the mountains themselves.
Happiness is when you smile at yourself in the mirror without thinking of someway to change yourself.
Happiness is walking out the house not caring what your appearance is because you don’t care what people think of you.
Happiness is knowing that you are loved for you and not some made-up unnatural stranger.
To be seen as the real me, not letting anyone put me down or hold me back is what would make me happy.
Hence why I smile eternally.

This Universe

This universe is mine, so leave it alone.
Let it be an island drifting in the neutrino
Populated, dark anti-matter empty sea.

Let me create what I will and all I want,
Sketching myself in the contour drawn among
The blooming nebulas and fading dwarf stars.

Then I can hope that electromagnetic
Fields will pull you in; gravity defiant,
You will attract the orbit of constellations

Which line and light my nightly bound hemispheres—
My celestial globes of expanding thought—
And realign the muted stellar twinkles
In my eye.

This universe is mine,
But I'm willing to share.
We could be intertwined

Lunch Break

Shoppers shift in and out
down lane
up aisle
sweeping eyes
seizing
life sustaining shelf stock
greeted at deli by saintly smile
thin slice conversation
wax wrapped
with turkey and provolone
ripe overflown
deli dumpster scraps
fly swarm over sour
sun warmed
honey baked ham
passing through dull dream dungeon
dreary dry stock
tight wrapped, stacked upon itself,
waiting for tomorrow's
high priced
