Quotes about pester

Do Not Question If It's Deep

If I give to you...
My time.
Don't you take my time to...
Just whine.

And...
If I said I love you do not question if it's deep.
And...
Do not not pester me if it is known I need my sleep.
And...
Do not nag me none at all because you'll distance me.
And...
That time I gave to you will go and with it I'll leave.

If I give to you...
My time.
Don't you take my time to...
Just whine.

And...

Leave Me Alone With The Blues

[d] better pack up your suitcase and [g] leave in a [d] hurry
Now I dont wanna show you the door
[d] since the day that we met youve been [g] nothin but [d] trouble
Now I dont want you [a] here [d] anymore
Run [g] along run along dont [d] pester me further
For I [g] know that youll never be [d] true
If you cant treat me right then get [g] out of my [d] life
Go and leave me [a] alone with the [d] blues
[d] oh you stayed by my side till you [g] got all my [d] money
Now my clothes are all ragged and torn
[d] since the day that we met youve been [g] nothin but [d] worry
Lord I wish I had [a] never been [d] born
Run [g] along run along dont you [d] pester me further
I [g] know that youll never be [d] true
If you cant treat me right then get [g] out of my [d] life
Go and leave me [a] alone with these [d] blues
[d] you may ramble and ramble this [g] whole wide world [d] over
But dont trust any woman you meet
[d] they wont leave you alone till theyve [g] got your last [d] dollar
Then youre just like the [a] dirt beneath their [d] feet

Opposing Forces

You should want to be,
At your best when tested.

Those who do,
Get no rest to pester.

And those who don't,
Agonize to manifest unrest...
Somewhere allowed.

You should want to be,
At your best when tested.

Those who do,
Get no rest to pester.

And those who don't,
Agonize to manifest unrest...
Somewhere allowed,
To be carried out.

Edward Lear

There was an Old Person of Chester,
Whom several small children did pester;
They threw some large stones,
Which broke most of his bones,
And displeased that Old Person of Chester.

A hospital patient from Leicester
Said, 'look, I do not want to pester,
But Doctor, I need
For this thing not to bleed
And it's nearly filled up my sou'wester.

Different scales

I like him. He, too, in turn.
We are in love. Good!

I like him. He is not so.
Still I like him. Better!

I like him. He hates me.
Still I like him. The best!

I love her. She, too, in turn.
We are in love. Good!

I love her. She avoids.
Still I pursue. Bad!

I love her. She despises.
Still I pester. Worse!

Love between same genders;
Love between opposite genders;

Dark Nights

Dying Romantic says:
I walk these streets all alone,
the sound of your voice still ringing on my phone.
You just couldn't leave our past behind,
why must I be the one that's always kind?
Your face haunts my nightmares,
and you always leave me something on the stairs.
I burn it with glee,
and yet you send more to pester me.
This heart can't take any more abuse,
so let me cut you loose.
This is goodbye...

Chaotic Beauty

The sky transitions from morning to night
Darkness fills around us like a blanket waiting to suffocate us
When we fall asleep we think that our troubles will go away
But when we wake up they pester at us even more
The sky transitions from day to night
The sky does not sleep
And neither do our troubles
So as the sky tansotions from night to morning
We face our problems head on
But everyday
Every hour, minute and second new problems appear
Our world is total chaos that will never be tamed.

A fool’s discourse

Am I the fool for not killing this fly
That persistently harasses me now?
Is my respect for life absurd, awry?
Should my philosophy be disavowed?
Isn’t all life a very sacred thing?
You say, yes, but a fly! A billion die
Each day! Ah! But most die on the wing.
My belief is ‘live and let live’, and why?
Nothing is insignificant to me.
Suppose for a moment you are that fly
And programmed to pester me endlessly?
Must I kill you in a blink of an eye?
Until Man respects life of every kind
Our future holds no hope for humankind.

Persisting To Exist To Pester

If it has been what it is,
And you've been made to believe...
It was not!
And you discover a truth from you,
Has been intentionally dismissed.
What else is there connected,
To your disbeliefs...
Persisting to exist to pester?

Perhaps you should investigate,
This annoyance that irritates.
To uncover why it insists to prick you.
Why keep defying in denial the reality of it!

If you don't mind,
I would like to leave you with this...
I wouldn't continue to question its existence.
I would suspect the validity of those beliefs you keep.
