Quotes about intermingle

There are many highly successful businesses in the United States. There are also many highly paid executives. The policy is not to intermingle the two.

Fragment: Follow To The Deep Wood's Weeds

Follow to the deep wood's weeds,
Follow to the wild-briar dingle,
Where we seek to intermingle,
And the violet tells her tale
To the odour-scented gale,
For they two have enough to do
Of such work as I and you.

I Have Spent My Life

I HAVE SPENT MY LIFE

I have spent my life
Walking
And Thinking
And Writing Poems.

A happy life
A blessed life
I thank God for it

As I now too
write these late afternoon lines
At Sunset
In a Jerusalem garden
Where the light breeze
And green intermingle.

Acknowledgement 1720

Chaste comely maiden, beauty bright,
honed pen, fair heart, begins to write
and all who read well wonder whence
such fairness springs as evidence
extends from pole to pole, day, night
must intermingle, extradite
all thought of envy, pride, high fence,
and low greed's need to seed fresh pence.
Peoples, perceiving peerlesss light,
completely conquered, honoured quite,
acknowledge spell which swells delight.
above ambition's impotence.

Night Club Quickie

A luscious babe, struts insidiously
Amongst the band
Roadie?
We think not
Just gasping for a ride

The crew gaulks, with vast mouths
At this showgirl
Which member will give her a whirl?
Will they play her safe?
Perhaps, just weigh in, at their own expense

The drummer makes a move
Slashing, pounding his thin lumber
She suddenly notices him
With a sensitive, sensual glance
Should he take a chance?

A nearby restroom, jumps in front of them both
As the band takes, an intermission

Moon-kissed Daisies

I lay myself upon the hills of grass
My brunette curls they wrap around the daisies
Their faces lit by starlight, moon and fairies
That dance out of my dreams in shoes of glass

Then Pitter Patter clouds begin to cry
I laugh delighted at the thunder's roar
My fingers dipped in mud have seized life's core
Life sees me clear through so surreal an eye

My thoughts leap forth and dance upon the hills
They intermingle, time their only curse
For as the sun must rise so must immerse
Those thoughts in sense and time again until

The spell once more is cast and breathe I will
Aromas only moon-kissed daisies spill

Jungle Fever

a prophet gets no
honor in his town. I'm no prophet but only
a poet trying to write the poetry of the day
but they watch me with the hawk's eye.

no longer do I sing
the songs of Innocence, for out
of the egg-shell matrix have I graduated
into the profound absurdity of the real world,
where ambiguity wears the crown in its jubilation,
and the well dressed don who wears
a stetson hat and the business suit
from Bradford, smiles with you and plots your downfall.

no longer do I sing
the songs of Innocence,
no longer do I sing as a bird.

''by the rivers of Babylon, there we wept
when we remembered Zion''.

Aura

I sit in the black leather chair
meditating
on the plume of smoke that rises
in the air,
riffling the pages of my life
as if it were a book of poems,
flipping through
past & future.

If I go back, back, back,
riding the plume of smoke,
I find I died
in childbirth in another life,
died by fire in the life before that,
died by water twice, or more.

I pick out days
& relive them
as if I were trying on dresses.

Eyes In The Darkness

Like mangled black stones
in this forlorn dark night
these eyes ruminated
and grinded shivering
wailing infinitesimal resonance
for the ones riveted listening
for the unchanging hymn

But reading nebulous poetries
that will remain unwritten
is a thawing soundlessness
echoing a subtle noise

Like a solitary game of chess
switching from black to white,
white to black: an ouroboros
until there is no more difference
between triumph and defeat

Because when the quintessence

A Word To Parasites

Some spend themselves and never groan
Unlike some plagued with greed
They deem God’s money not their own
Whilst Jesus’ sheep they feed

Vampires though peruse God’s house?
Devouring hoards of gold
Sucking blood like a canine louse
Whilst scriptures are unrolled

God’s sheep in faith stretch for their hand
In gratitude and love
With offerings and tithes as planned
By He who reigns above

These parasites in pompous frock
Who bumper crops would reap
Intermingle with Heaven’s flock
Fleecing The Father’s sheep
