It's a bird, no it's a kite

dream
close to me open
my eyes and let there be free,
for a wings
that surf neither stop
or come to see, and the beautiful sky
reaches to the clouds to attest
that its the bird
not the kite touches the wind, beneath
the wings

Hallelujah,
comes the sight that blinds the might,
as the strength cool the weak
and the brave harpoon the coward
to fight and win...

Life Through Binoculars

Up in the highlands with the God clouds
I ask them to tell me my name as they pass by
as silent as love slipping from familiar lips.
These leviathans of insubstance could humble away the world of men
with the real patience only known by those unfettered
by the superstition of time: those that only ever maybe existed.
But if I had anything tonight, it’d be a hot air balloon and a harpoon
so I could continue the legacy of my species
hunting our whales of mist.

Glad that you see

much more can the eyes can speak, yet the lips
just murmur and poke a little thou eyebrows tells
of what is today and tomorrow will be glad to say

first comes from the end of every beginning, mastering
of what is new to see, nay a sharp harpoon catches a
fish without a throw or sling find a stone with only
air to bring

the echo finds meaning when the ear feel, the distance
that finds a friend and shows me the smile, for laughter
begins in a simple accolade, whom everything goes to
a matter of seeing you again

Let’s Remain Friends

Love is capable
Of ruining our marvelous friendship
And destroying our great relationship.

Love is culpable
In every instance, where strong feelings
Are engaged. Love stings
Like the nocturnal killer bees
Like the flower hat jellies of the shallow seas.

Let’s remain friends
Let’s shake hands
And avoid the kisses and the hugs
So we won’t stain our velvety rugs.

The snake

Lord, when the leviathan rose
out of the dark depths
of the raging sea

uncoiling itself
twisting to strike at Thee,

Thy mighty great sword
stroke the serpent dragon
piercing and slaying it

and to this day I wonder
what this creature could be,
as no such creature have being seen.

While some speculate on crocodile
as being too powerful to be caught
like a fish,

That bright chimeric beast
Conceived yet never born,
Save in the poet's breast,
The white-flanked unicorn,
Never may be shaken
From his solitude;

Last Night (Rondeau Redoublé)

Last night I saw a big white moon
rising slowly, almost with dignity
and the first star said that it would be dark soon
while you kissed me

and together we lay spoon to spoon
melted into each other softly and tenderly,
in loving activity without any modesty.

and outside the wind blowing was the only activity
