We don't know why, but there are some gradients of infection.

Calculus

Zero divided by one is zero,
but it bothered me
from my first conception
of mathematics
that one cannot
be divided by zero
and that it is incalculable.

When I found Calculus
new horizons
opened for me
and I saw mathematics
in another light
and I could find
how one approaches zero
and suddenly
Algebra became clearer.

At first the Calculus dragon
tried to incinerate me

Fierce One

Fierce one must keep afraid of ferocious one,
You are medallion of hope, and metal of future;
Yet they describe a fool to disarray the feeders
And givers of fear and folly, of gradients and grievances.

Hands On Deck

The tides resurrected
And mangled with the undulation
A salient limn on my vision
Where power engulfs power,
Water condenses water,
Paroxysm crashes paroxysm;
Willowing the bouffant steerage
To descry the eviscerating road
In the ocean's trifling ablution
That sifted the luster of the reflection
In the palm of the sea's moiré
Leaving me astray and demented in the vesper
Of my flustering resolution

This is a peripatetic sailing
In the chagrined tongue of contingency
Shooting sundered quasars blindly
In the raucous rocking of the sea
That debilitates my recalcitrant heart
Rectified like the stones ashore

Into Your Waking Life

Under the chalky light
and in between frontiers,
you swam like seraphs
Your larcenous feet gliding
like wingless serendipity

You osculate with beauty
Two hands interlaced,
one heartbeat shared
I stagger at this art
frail untouchable divinity

Veiled in immaculate gradients
in a salient heraldry,
in an intimate blear,
there is an embarrassed pang
underneath it all
and it is not even jealousy

I raised my goblet

Stalemate Exodus

In gradients of gray
I reckon of euphony
the savory verdigris
titillating my defunct compass
coaxing me to move
as the leaves fall to senescence
with a hapless acquiescence

This silence feigns resilience
mourning for the rotting sequence
and the stifling emptiness
alchemically transmutes to gold
but the rusting chains can't deny
the nursed grievance inside
the pangs of my vault

The chains of despondence
kept me incarcerated
in this haunted quagmire -
a cellar of wrongness

Seemingly You Like The Grey Area

i admit i live there. I live
in the places of dawn
and twilights where
i have learned to
tinker about anything.

there are exceptions
and exemptions there.
it is no longer black
or white, or
either/or, it is a ray
a rainbow of
possibilities. I embrace
gradients.

it is the meeting place
of lost elements
when they do not fit
they come
looking lost and then

Blind Swings

gradients
vivid, humbling
I was collecting a bit of myself

reading anatomy
of animality
spawning the hidden eggs

flecks of echos scarring:
reconnecting to starry night
I could not hold my enrged otherself

and the homely smell of gunshots
orchestrated to send a message of
mayhem – for optic illusion

the reptiles have broken
the law for an oceanic boat
collecting the golden fish

Green Home

Green Home
By Lori Triggs
Copyrighted 2009

I wish to have a green home to look like
A sinter block stucco 4 or 5 bedroom Italian villa home
With one floor even two master bedrooms and master baths.

I wish to have a green home made of
Reclaimed light woods with marbles,
Glass tiles even gradients the look of new.

I wish for many long with wide windows even
Long with wide double windows to see from,
And with fancy French doors in the bedrooms even den.

I want reclaimed blue jeans for installation for the home
With solar panels even water wells are off the grid with
Energy saving appliances and furnace that is very green to me.
