The City of Golgotha
Striped earlier on the back, adorned with a nest crown,
The Romans cannot be said to be fair, the Jews can be said to be wicked.
I pray ye, they know not what they do.
People watching my despair; the repair I strive to purchase at the hand of glory of my father in heave-their father since old times.
Golgotha is my city of condemnation, their city of salvation.
When the son of man rises again, when the Holy Spirit takes over Golgotha shall less matter.
When man is saved Golgotha might be a city to remember.

Battles Of Light And Darkness

Warrior teenage shepherd David dragged
giant severed head of Philistine Goliath;
all the way to Jerusalem to Golgotha
in answer to God's prophecy command;

because in Genesis in God’s word is written Genesis 2: 14-15.
the serpent will be bruised in the head;
therefore David buried Goliath's head
beneath Golgotha to fulfill future kingdom sign;

head wound was fatal death wound
heal wound a wound to be recovered;
at Golgotha place of skulls the blood
Christ freely shed upon a cross freed;

all accepting Christ of original sin’s origin
Christ’s blood triumphed over buried hidden;
head of Goliath symbol for serpent crushed
heal wound rose in three days Satan defeated;

Eyes That Look Up

At Golgotha I looked up, and saw three crosses, framed against the sky!
In memory from birth creation, God immortalized, day his son would die!

Behold, look up, view appearance, a complete parhelion, three 'suns'!
God has written, the Holy Trinity, Christ’s complete victory in the sky!

Christ died for you like a dog, fear mock God not, view sun dogs in the sky!
White arcs circles crossing heaven sky, God has painted sun dogs in the sky!

What you ridicule God, yes two were thieves, Christ died among thieves!
Stand forth self righteous man, did you never sin, saved is he who believes!

What God would not paint thieves, upon heavenly sky, as bright as his son?
Observe mocker of divine laws! Take proud blasphemy! Lost sinner run!

A Miracle For Good Friday! Three suns shine in blue sky! Two rainbows!
God said his rainbow was to remember sin! Sin of two thieves like a flood!

try going to golgotha
and see
if you can find a joke there

try your wits and humour
on skulls
and carcass
and crosses and
crucifixions

yes the carcass
funny
you can see her ass.

be there not a star
for every child that's born?
and is every birth then,
not the rebirth of redemption?
is every life then not a journey,
from Gethsemene to Golgotha?
a thousand tiny deaths,
that bring salvation and hope!

Private Eye Lettuce

Three crates of Private Eye Lettuce,
the name and drawing of a detective
with magnifying glass on the sides
of the crates of lettuce,
form a great cross in man's imagination
and his desire to name
the objects of this world.
I think I'll call this place Golgotha
and have some salad for dinner.

Somewhere in Angola
you were planted
back into African soil
from where you sprouted
to make it young again
with blood
marked with a small cross
that’s blown away by the dry wind
and there you
child of God
also found a Golgotha
and I wonder how many boys:

still have to fall in Africa
before the last shots ring?
