Apollo Musagete, Poetry, And The Leader Of The Muses

Nothing is given which is not taken.

Little or nothing is taken which is not freely desired,
freely, truly and fully.

"You would not seek me if you had not found me": this is
true of all that is supremely desired and admired...

"An enigma is an animal," said the hurried, harried
schoolboy:

And a horse divided against itself cannot stand;

And a moron is a man who believes in having too many
wives: what harm is there in that?

O the endless fecundity of poetry is equaled
By its endless inexhaustible freshness, as in the discovery
of America and of poetry.

To the revolutionary mind the American vista must have been almost as incredible as Genghis Khan's first view of China - so rich, so soft, so unaware.

Genghis Khan was born,
Gripping a blood clot in hand.
But Love Child more bold,
And if I can say more cold,
Grasped I.U.D. dripping blood.

Hans Bethe

If we fight a war and win it with H-bombs, what history will remember is not the ideals we were fighting for but the methods we used to accomplish them. These methods will be compared to the warfare of Genghis Khan who ruthlessly killed every last inhabitant of Persia.

Ghenghis Khan

Genghis Khan was a ladies man
on constant call for booty.
He’d conquer towns, and then sleep around
like it was his sacred duty.

He swept the steppes of maiden heads
on his own star search for beauty.
He tapped the ass of many a lass
from Princess to common cutie.

From his nomad home to just North of Rome
So widely spread was his chromosome
That this years Khan Reunion
Is scheduled for the Super dome

politics ***** NATIONALISM- THE IDEOLOGY OF ABUSE

unfold the history
human killed human
blood for blood
for nation's sake
territorial integrity

patriotic pride
heroic honor
a legacy down to
generations to generations
for country's name
intuitive freedom
independent from
external will
politically economically
free from stranger's control

Quietly dangerous
if nationalism is being abused,
it creates another

A Man's World After All

Few women in business and politics succeed
For most males think it is their right to lead
And so few women have ever known renown
Down through the ages they have been kept down.

Male heroes through the ages we recall
It surely is a man's world after all
From today's heroes back to Genghis Khan
Most of the glory it would seem for man.

In this age of technology it seems sad to say
That in many cultures women still today
Are treated as inferior by men
And equality they can never hope to win.

The women who have made it in politics and business seem so few
And it's a man's world happen to be true
And something that by now ought be long gone
The fight for the equality of the sexes must go on.

Midnight Estate

Midnight estate, Genghis Khanerate!
Rustle, blue birches.
Bright sunset, Zarathustrate!
And you, blue sky, Mozartate!
You twilight-cloud, be Goya!
And you at night, cloud, rainate!
A whirlwind of smiles just flew by,
Laughing with claws of shrieking,
Then I saw the hangman
And surveyed boldly the midnight hush.
And I called you, bold-featured,
And he brought the drowned back from the river.
"Their forget-me-not is louder than a scream," -
I told the sail of night.
The earth's axis splashed out another day,
Night's bulk is closing in.
I dreamed I saw a salmon-girl
In the waves of a midnight waterfall.
The pines are Tatared by the tempest
And the Mongol rainclouds move,
