SILENT old gateway! whose two columns stand
Like simple monuments on either hand;
No trellised iron-work, with pleasant view
Of trim-set flowery gardens shining through;
No bolts to bar unasked intruders out;
No well-oiled hinge whose sound, like one low note
Of music, tells the listening hearts that yearn,
Expectant of dear footsteps, where to turn;
No ponderous bell whose loud vociferous tone
Into the rose-decked lodge hath echoing gone,
Bringing the porter forth with brief delay,
To spread those iron wings that check the way;
Nothing but ivy-leaves, and crumbling stone;
Silent old gateway,--even thy life is gone!

But ere those columns, lost in ivvied shade,
Black on the midnight sky their forms portrayed;
And ere thy gate, by damp weeds overtopped,
Swayed from its rusty fastenings and then dropped,--
When it stood portal to a living home,

The Gateway To Heaven

the gateway to heaven,
seems a long journey but it really is a hard one,
To go to Heaven we must be good,
On earth and in our souls,
The gateway to Heaven eliminates to weak,
and puts the people of God in,
but don't you think we should ALL go to Heaven,
since we're all Gods children thats my question,
still unsolved, since God loves all of his creation,
why not put his creations good or bad in Heaven.....

A pale blue dot caught in a beam of light
A palace of ravishing greenery
A harmonious symphony of life
A perpetual puzzle of land and sea

A place where volcanoes vomit lava
A place where hurricanes swarm
A place where tornadoes gyrate
And yet creates itself again

A place of ambitions
A place of emotions
A place of cruelty
A place of poverty

This is the Earth

Gateway lies beckoning open...
a simple smile can be a welcome token.

Those who pursue – yet find no beauty
within life’s manifold pages. Have lost multiplicity.

All beauty within – breast filled soul.
Milk of life swells to inspire not to console.

In stewing vulnerable void – goodness flees
sadly encroaching emptiness blackness dwell.

onward wayward beckons despair embracing hell.

The Solar Disc Inferno

The moon is a sliver plate upon the table of the night
The solar disc inferno is raging above some far off distant land.

The air is warmer that it was before
But still biting with icicle tongue
And we the young
We are aging
The pages of history are turning
And over new and distant horizons the sun is rising
On the world ever lost in spiralling creation

No one moment can exist into the next
But we may slide, graciously at times
Into the abyss and return with the knowledge of love

Through the gateway to the kingdom of shades we stride
Holding high our heads with pride in the knowledge that we seek the light divine.

In the eyes of the one you love the sacred is to be found
In the smile of a child is the wonder of the universe unfolding.
