Do Re Mi

DO RE MI FA SO LA TI DO
anagram
DO I FORMALISE, DOAT?

Mind finds through magic interface
enchantment in soft smile whose grace
leaves senses reeling into space.
Form, face, inspires as, in disgrace,
Time disappears, and in its place
all doubts dissolved, we solve life’s chase.
Mingling, jingling, words may trace
cheer and charm which interlace
heart with heart, - no commonplace
encounter doubles pulse rate race.
It sudden seems, in any case,
prismatic colour tones replace
monochrome monochord most embrace

Mixed Doubles

Two who once shared a harmony,
Now together
Sharing grief!

It's the mix of trouble.
Because of the economy.

Who thought a bottom would fall out,
From under two with a future.
Who thought things from them would be removed
After having fantasies approved.
With a signing on a dotted line!
Good credit with timely payments
IF payments made were done on time.

Mixed doubles befuddled in economic trouble.
On a field playing with others.
Sharing grief with hopes of getting financial relief.

Two who once shared a harmony,

Top Man

This is a public warning
Be careful when you're out
We are having freaky weather
There's a lot of it about
On the terraces is it swinging
He's a monkey on the roof
You've seen him on the telly
So let me introduce you're host tonight

T.o.p.m.a.n. he's naughty by nature
T.o.p.m.a.n. on doubles and chasers
T.o.p.m.a.n. guilette or a razor
T.o.p.m.a.n. shooting guns on the high street of love

In a crowd it's hard to spot him
But anonymity can cost
He's never cheap or cheerful
He's hugo and he's boss
He's riding through the desert on a camel light
And on a magic carpet he'll fly away tonight

Two people she had been to me

Two people she had been to me
the only full of love who were true and laughed with me,
who every time that she looked at me, every time
brought my depths to fiery passion and free

gave her love to me and you
the other one who waited
to wound, who yearned for catastrophe
and got joy from my pain

who broke the glass of every mirror
till I could only wonder
who it was that was with me?
and if it’s you or her and rather leave

me without the two playing a game of doubles
making my life joyous, hurting me into the depths of hell.

Love Game Courts Rackets

In doubles Romeo and Juliet
can back-spin bounce each Capulet.
For forty- love's one trouncing score
and love's all those Montagues abhor.
The game gets dirty; then where's fair sport?
Love's bounced about on hard-clay court! !
But hold your balls and ponder on it!
You whack romance, but racquets wrong it!
Sets are best to win when love nets sonnet.

From East to West

Let sun rise from east or west
As single it is always nice and best
Why to worry about others and what for
When it turns out to be unhappy and sour

Bachelor does not mean single and alone
Spring might have come and gone
But in life there is no scope for autumn
Life is colorful and always heaven

Doors always open and bidders are free
Dance with flutes music under the tree
No one to question and always to smile
All pages blank and inkless in open file

Double means fear with double barrel gun
Embargo on entertainment and sans fun
You can’t smile even at the passers by
Exchange words even if honestly try

Love Increased By Suffering

'I love the Lord,' is still the strain
This heart delights to sing:
But I reply--your thoughts are vain,
Perhaps 'tis no such thing.

Before the power of love divine
Creation fades away;
Till only God is seen to shine
In all that we survey.

In gulfs of awful night we find
The God of our desires;
'Tis there he stamps the yielding mind,
And doubles all its fires.

Flames of encircling love invest,
And pierce it sweetly through;
'Tis filled with sacred joy, yet pressed
With sacred sorrow too.

Hoopitteedoo

Never give it up to anyone with a sucker punch.
With a pain that doubles you with troubles,
And you're taken out to lunch.

Never give it up to anyone with a sucker punch.
You may get duped,
With a looting too.

Some people hesitate with those they know fake.
Believing they are not the next to have a heartbreak.
Some people like the color of someone's eyes.
Not if they have dignity carried with pride.
Some people into things like to 'materialate'
About who has what and how that rates!

Never give it up to anyone with a sucker punch.
With a pain that doubles you with troubles,
And you're taken out to lunch.

Never give it up to anyone with a sucker punch.

The Secular Masque

Enter JANUS
JANUS
Chronos, Chronos, mend thy pace,
An hundred times the rolling sun
Around the radiant belt has run
In his revolving race.
Behold, behold, the goal in sight,
Spread thy fans, and wing thy flight.

Enter CHRONOS, with a scythe in his hand, and a great globe on his back,
which he sets down at his entrance

CHRONOS
Weary, weary of my weight,
Let me, let me drop my freight,
And leave the world behind.
I could not bear
Another year
The load of human-kind.
