I'm at the depot, and I'm not going anywhere. That's better to deal with than having to deal with the unknown. And the unknown is they don't want to fail. They don't want to pay the price unless there's a guarantee they're going to get there.

Convergence

We met—my love and I—at a cozy bus depot.
Throbbing with desire, she strolled into my arms.
Once our hearts knew immense delight, we both know.
She is my bonne vivante of fanciest charms.

A gentle kiss we shared for sweet remembering.
With the golden future of nostalgia warming our merriment,
The fervor of the heavens her voice began to sing,
With her song she undresses the sky like undraping firmament.

Dad Thanks Again

It is thirteen years today
since you sent me on the
home depot mission
gone only twenty minutes
well thanks for not shooting
me when you turned that
shotgun on your self it was hard
getting the Catholic priest
to give you mass
but you are situated proper now
not burning hot inside the box as you thought.
Thanks for your car, condo, stocks, bonds, most of
all thanks for paying off those credit cards before.
I grew up to be just like you....well almost.
