Quotes about corrode

Orlando Furioso Canto 19

ARGUMENT
Medoro, by Angelica's quaint hand,
Is healed, and weds, and bears her to Catay.
At length Marphisa, with the chosen band,
After long suffering, makes Laiazzi's bay.
Guido the savage, bondsman in the land,
Which impious women rule with civil sway,
With Marphisa strives in single fight,
And lodges her and hers at full of night.

I
By whom he is beloved can no one know,
Who on the top of Fortune's wheel is seated;
Since he, by true and faithless friends, with show
Of equal faith, in glad estate is greeted.
But, should felicity be changed to woe,
The flattering multitude is turned and fleeted!
While he who loves his master from his heart,
Even after death performs his faithful part.

Soft money will find its way and seep into the political system and corrode it, unless we plug every hole.

I've lived to bury my desires, And see my dreams corrode with rust Now all that's left are fruitless fires That burn my empty heart to dust.

Desire Of The Forest

Desire shall be lust soon,
While the passion surrounds us.
Hoots and howls corrode my hearing
And eyes falter, to see nothing.
My days connect after too much reading,
Mighty forests of words are around me.
This time a loving teacher as strayed
Into my knowing path.
I am a forest of wise words,
My orchard seems to be myself,
I am just not ready for too many meanings.
I may even die sooner than you think,
Leaving us all, in the sleep.

On Receiving News of the War

Snow is a strange white word.
No ice or frost
Has asked of bud or bird
For Winter's cost.

Yet ice and frost and snow
From earth to sky
This Summer land doth know.
No man knows why.

In all men's hearts it is.
Some spirit old
Hath turned with malign kiss
Our lives to mould.

Red fangs have torn His face.
God's blood is shed.
He mourns from His lone place
His children dead.

Harassment

A harassed heart finds humanity,
Dripping from a blade and scythe;
The staggering achievements are fed
To lions of strength and breathing.

The spots I find the tempest corrode me,
As my harassment is without cessation.
Rest on earth that bends so oddly and dreamily,
Rest on it until hearts rend asunder into smithereens.

Light is a twin for divine particles
Existing from an array of hope.
Where there is a spot of dreariness,
I spot the spot on which I stand to comprehend.

Rich Air

Very striking and rich. I don't know
How the waves of light corrode the corpse.
I imagine the hearing of a couple,
If rumour holds like rum, this very square
Shoots each man of war-like proportions,
Inmate of oblivion, asking for more cash,
Inmate of selfish tasks and affairs.

These united men shallowly walk the water
After regards as the liquid helium has mixed
And amalgamated, fusion of recent activity.
Seconds decide sessions of radioactivity,
This is a bomb zone!

Passion's Grace

We sing sweet lullabies
We cry out melodies
We tune it, till it feels like emotion
We zoom in, till thought corrode

In our comatose, we just forget
It comforts me when I'm behind the sun
It makes me feel so good
When laughs could barely satisfy my mood
It cools me, when I'm cooking in the heat.
It ends the long days and puts me to sleep.
I think summer is at its end
I think summer is at its end
I think summer is at its end
and because of your flow it doesn't even matter

Love Isn't

A love that communes,
while isolation beckons.
A bliss that’s endowed,
when burning magma reckons.

A love that is peaceful,
while hostile thunder shakes.
A warmth that protects,
when icy pressure breaks.

A love that’s abyss,
while blooming planes erode.
A faith that is firm,
when fickle leaves corrode.

A love blessed with light,
while night time shadows crawl.
A trust always pure,
when rusting iron trawls.

The Searcher

He rode on bus to the Andes
Villagers burnt tyres at the road
They brandished menacing axes
Fear made the pavement corrode.

He sailed the rivers of the Congo
Dreaming about his tender lady’s heart
She played Schubert on the piano
Yet Babylon waited with a dart.

He walked the streets of Moscow
Burning with desire for her embrace
Fiery lava streaming from a volcano
But his lady vanished without trace.

Trouble found him in the port of Rio
Exhausted he was but tried to relax
Times were better in Ontario
The beer foamier in Halifax.
