Quotes about breathless

Breathless

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh!!
My control
That's what you take from me
Damned my soul
And you won't let me be
Stop me in my tracks, there's no looking back
I can't see (no)
It's much too late
I feel great
You take my breath away
You leave me breathless
You got me helpless
You take my breath away
You leave me breathless
You got me helpless
You take my breath away
Inside-out, that's how she turns my head
All my doubts are never put to bed
She's got me runnin' blind, never think I'll find sanity (oh)
Hyperventilate, nothing's a in her place

You Take My Breath Away

You take my breath away.
You make me want to stay
breathless.
For feeling like I do
just from the sight of you
has always made me feel
breathless.

When you're not around
it's then that I have found
that nothing seems to be
good enough for me.
For I'm missing the sweet part
that's deep within my heart
that keeps each breath I take
in a constant search for thee.

You take my breath away.
You make me want to stay
breathless.

Dead For Quite A Long Time....

breathless is the reason,
it is just this euphemism about having to lose breath
and you may think
it's a way simply out of the ball game
or a movie
like breathless (i.e. sleepless) in Seattle
but really, really
it is not the case of being breathless because you are overjoyed
or has exerted much effort
for joy
or bliss
it is not the case, it is not
it is something else that you cannot figure out
because you are still
too preoccupied with breathing and all
its condiments of air
and space

there will be a time when you see someone you
love in an infirmary

Breathless

Never knew love before
Never dreamed there could be something more
Felt my heart overflow
With the danger of needing you so
Its a mystery I cant explain
But I shiver when I hear your name
Chorus:
You are the fire
Every desire
Breathless we fall in love
Love is the answer
We are the dancers
Breathless we fall in love
We fall in love
Youve crept into my soul
And Im ready to lose all control
Let our hearts fill with light
Every moment you make is so right
Its a mystery I cant explain
But I shiver when I hear your name

The Forest Sanctuary - Part I.

I.
The voices of my home!-I hear them still!
They have been with me through the dreamy night-
The blessed household voices, wont to fill
My heart's clear depths with unalloy'd delight!
I hear them still, unchang'd:-though some from earth
Are music parted, and the tones of mirth-
Wild, silvery tones, that rang through days more bright!
Have died in others,-yet to me they come,
Singing of boyhood back-the voices of my home!

II.
They call me through this hush of woods, reposing
In the grey stillness of the summer morn,
They wander by when heavy flowers are closing,
And thoughts grow deep, and winds and stars are born;
Ev'n as a fount's remember'd gushings burst
On the parch'd traveller in his hour of thirst,
E'en thus they haunt me with sweet sounds, till worn
By quenchless longings, to my soul I say-

The Aeneid of Virgil: Book 11

SCARCE had the rosy Morning rais’d her head
Above the waves, and left her wat’ry bed;
The pious chief, whom double cares attend
For his unburied soldiers and his friend,
Yet first to Heav’n perform’d a victor’s vows: 5
He bar’d an ancient oak of all her boughs;
Then on a rising ground the trunk he plac’d,
Which with the spoils of his dead foe he grac’d.
The coat of arms by proud Mezentius worn,
Now on a naked snag in triumph borne, 10
Was hung on high, and glitter’d from afar,
A trophy sacred to the God of War.
Above his arms, fix’d on the leafless wood,
Appear’d his plumy crest, besmear’d with blood:
His brazen buckler on the left was seen; 15
Truncheons of shiver’d lances hung between;
And on the right was placed his corslet, bor’d;
And to the neck was tied his unavailing sword.
A crowd of chiefs inclose the godlike man,
Who thus, conspicuous in the midst, began: 20

Something About You

Yeah youve been so close, oh baby
In my world always gone with someeone
Seeing you on your own
Lts like some light, so bright is turning on
See you standing there oh baby
Feel a change in the air
Everywhere
Why didnt I know
That youre the one that Ive been waiting for
Yeah, theres something about you
That I never knew
Why didnt I see your smile before
Yeah, theres something about you
Thats ieaving me breathless
Leading me on
You can see, I can tell oh baby
Youve got some power over me
Use it well
Dont know why Im so sure
That youre the love that Ive been longing for

Bad, bad, bad, bad boy, you make me feel so good, knew you would
The way you hold me tight you get me so excited
You do me oh , so right, my heart goes beat, beat, beat, beat, beat, beat

The Widow Of Crescentius : Part I.

'Midst Tivoli's luxuriant glades,
Bright-foaming falls, and olive shades,
Where dwelt, in days departed long,
The sons of battle and of song,
No tree, no shrub its foliage rears,
But o'er the wrecks of other years,
Temples and domes, which long have been
The soil of that enchanted scene.

There the wild fig-tree and the vine
O'er Hadrian's mouldering villa twine;
The cypress, in funeral grace,
Usurps the vanished column's place;
O'er fallen shrine and ruined frieze
The wall-flower rustles in the breeze;
Acanthus-leaves the marble hide
They once adorned in sculptured pride;
And nature hath resumed her throne
O'er the vast works of ages flown.

The Missionary - Canto Third

Come,--for the sun yet hangs above the bay,--
And whilst our time may brook a brief delay
With other thoughts, and, haply with a tear,
An old man's tale of sorrow thou shalt hear.
I wished not to reveal it;--thoughts that dwell
Deep in the lonely bosom's inmost cell
Unnoticed, and unknown, too painful wake,
And, like a tempest, the dark spirit shake,
When, starting from our slumberous apathy,
We gaze upon the scenes of days gone by.
Yet, if a moment's irritating flush,
Darkens thy cheek, as thoughts conflicting rush,
When I disclose my hidden griefs, the tale
May more than wisdom or reproof prevail.
Oh, may it teach thee, till all trials cease,
To hold thy course, though sorrowing, yet in peace;
Still looking up to Him, the soul's best stay,
Who Faith and Hope shall crown, when worlds are swept away!
Where fair Seville's Morisco turrets gleam
On Guadilquiver's gently-stealing stream;
