Quotes about brag

I’m So Good That I Don’t Have To Brag

Now I'm warnin' all you women don't stand too close to me cause you might catch fire
Now you're talkin' to a man in a whole other kind of bag
Well I'm three parts tiger and one part snake
I'll ball you to sleep and I'll bite you awake
And I'm so good that I don't have to brag
I need an adding machine to count up all the women I've ruined for other men
Now compared to me Paul Bunyan is a screamin' fag
I can shift more gears and pump more juice I'll turn you every which way but loose
And I'm so damn good that I don't have to brag
Now there's twenty thirty beautiful women a sleepin' at the foot of my bed
And every night every night I hear 'em sighin'
They say that I don't miss a thing they say that I'm the lovin' king
And I'm too nice a guy to say they're lyin'
Now I've been makin' love professionally since I was only six years old
And I really learned the way to wiggly wag
And still I'm such a modest man you know I'm twice as great as I think I am
I'm so good that I don't have to brag
There's a line of chicks startin' at my window and reachin' across the street
And it stretches 'way to the other side of town
They come to me from across the seas on their knees just sayin' Please

Canadian born

We first saw light in Canada, the land beloved of God;
We are the pulse of Canada, its marrow and its blood:
And we, the men of Canada, can face the world and brag
That we were born in Canada beneath the British flag.

Few of us have the blood of kings, few are of courtly birth,
But few are vagabonds or rogues of doubtful name and worth;
And all have one credential that entitles us to brag--
That we were born in Canada beneath the British flag.

We've yet to make our money, we've yet to make our fame,
But we have gold and glory in our clean colonial name;
And every man's a millionaire if only he can brag
That he was born in Canada beneath the British flag.

No title and no coronet is half so proudly worn
As that which we inherited as men Canadian born.
We count no man so noble as the one who makes the brag
That he was born in Canada beneath the British flag.

Little miss brag

Little Miss Brag has much to say
To the rich little lady from over the way
And the rich little lady puts out a lip
As she looks at her own white, dainty slip,
And wishes that she could wear a gown
As pretty as gingham of faded brown!
For little Miss Brag she lays much stress
On the privileges of a gingham dress -
"Aha,
Oho!"

The rich little lady from over the way
Has beautiful dolls in vast array;
Yet she envies the raggedy home-made doll
She hears our little Miss Brag extol.
For the raggedy doll can fear no hurt
From wet, or heat, or tumble, or dirt!
Her nose is inked, and her mouth is, too,
And one eye's black and the other's blue -
"Aha,

Poodles

So many love to spoil their pets.
Especially those poodles.
With pedicures and silk worn vests.
Especially those poodles.

Some can be seen,
Adorning precious gems as necklaces.
Especially those poodles.
And people 'ahh' and 'ooo' too...
Whenever they see a pampered moving poodle.

Why,
Oh why...
Few are heard to brag about their cockatoos?
Those noisy Australasian crested parrots.
And,
Why oh why...
Do some prefer cats?
Even appearing to nap those cats will scratch back.

Democrats always like to brag that their guys are smarter than the opponents and Republicans always like to brag that their guys are more moral than the opponents. But if you're looking for morals in politics you're looking for bananas in the cheese department.

Bragging Rights

Bragging Rights

I’m feeling rather curious
If not down right ridiculous.
I’m married to a great grandma
She thinks I am peculiar
because I say I’m very glad
to be at last a great Granddad.
Although she will admit to me
in private that’s she’s glad to be
Allowed to call her son Granddad
a privilege she’s never had
but one she willing to pursue
if only for a week or two
The truth is we are pleased to be
part of a growing family.
We hope quite soon to get to know
our first great grandson Little Joe
My lady and I have no doubt
we have something to brag about.

Good for You

Ariel I got good grades
'Ok then, Good for you'
Ariel, my boyfriends good to me
'Ok then, Good for you'
Ariel, I'm about to graduate
'Alright, Good for you'
'You're doing good in life and school
you brag about the things you do
It'll be funny if you graduate
but can't afford to
so you celebrate
a little late
and you're not included in the graduation rate
and I know you love your boyfriend
but your relationship's real boring
and I hope that he gets you pregnant
then leaves
because you brag about all of these good things
to me
above it all

Happiness for Sadness

No matter how bad you have it
I will always have it worse
That was once said to me
When I think about it
That’s a good thing
Why would someone want to have it worse
Why would someone want to be sad?
These day people brag about being depressed
They put labels on it
“Emo” that’s what they call it
No matter how bad you have it
I’ll always have it worse
Why would someone brag about being
Sad
Why is depression
Considered an accomplishment
People need to get thing set straight
Depression is not fun
Depression is horrible
Depression has eaten me alive

Dribbling Balls Being Playfully Tossed

For decades they've kept the same charade.
To stand on urban corners...
Idled to brag,
About children abandoned they fathered.

Some even spent jail time sharing cells with sons.
Not having a clue what this has done.
And everyone of them meet and greet everyday.
Wasting time and their lives away.

They wish to unify this ignorance.
With games of sports played...
As their babies mamas,
Look on from behind fences.

With beliefs this connects,
To benefit a long lasting wisdom in retrospect.
Yet a maturity from their minds,
Has been dissected!
And a respect for progress,

Face And Fix Those Obstacles

Face and fix those obstacles.
If ignored they will continue to grow.
If you don't do it,
They will never let you go.
And you will be the one regretting...
With eyes not words seen,
With an eyebrow or two lifted...
Expressing this, 'We told you so! '

Face and fix those obstacles.

If you don't do it,
They will never let you go.
And you will be the one regretting...
With eyes not words seen,
With an eyebrow or two lifted...
Expressing this, 'We told you so! '

Scoop them up with a boot.
Don't be the one regretting.
