Quotes about awoken

Like Family

Awoken by their light
These people are for life
Enriched is this sight
These people are for life

Around love they come
They honour the sun
Make merry in testimony
With them, never lonely

As constant as night
These people are for life
When feeling down they hold on tight
These people are for life

Feeling better for knowing them
Building this form up again and again
Open to dance and breathe
Lending courage to believe

Awoken from a winters heart

Awoken from a winters heart
~
The perpetual hours of night
Which haunted the lonesome soul
Cast shadows upon the world
The isolate dream within
Decayed hope and faith with ease
The black dogs howled
While the spirit sank to nothingness
Fear, a fear of loneliness
Silence, the fear which speaks
The season of the solitary heart
The winter of a broken man
Came to an end
Awaking to a spring named love
New hope grew and spread
A warmth settled into new dreams
A future still uncertain
But no longer filled with dread
Light, a light now filled the eye

Seasons Remain Not The Same

The birds have awoken,
So discard the intension
To trap them with no water
And with no grain. They too need
Some crimson evenings of freedom;
They are being invited
By the washed clear dawns,
And by the spring-tide.
They remember too the soil
Of unpaved mud-plastered yards,
They like to dream about fragrant roses,
And they bear in minds
References of the books.

The birds have awoken
Their nests in the trees sobbingly wail,
They make them perturbed,
Their dreams are frailer
Than the wings of butterflies
That smolder in the burning coals.

Truth

I screamed when everyone was quiet
I laughed when everyone had cried
I slept after I had awoken
And lived right after I had died

Things to say are not measured in words

they lean on the windowsills with broken hands
elbowed awoken for the call inside
they look at the passing things unuttered sad
look through the eyes of the rain
for a silent outpour of the heart
that's never been

Nine

Nine.
So mournful.
Yet, dripping with growth.
Give me no mercy, once again.
Nine.
That wretched time.
Away from myself.
Fountain of lies.
That oddity awoken.
A part of me, then, died.
Replacing certainty with unknown plans.
The fear eternally alive.
Nine...

0066 The Cell

The cell was smaller than a bedroom
or a life sentence
but the second night,
the first of sleep,
S. was awoken
by a knocking on the wall
and so the wall that separated them
joined them

when walls
become shared words
we are in the presence
of ourself.

From The Ashes

From The Ashes

Realities of the nightmare
freedom threatened by corruption
smoke rising from the ashes
two towers total destruction

fight for freedom
From The Ashes
fight for freedom
From The Ashes

join together and fihgt the tyrany
a world united as one
feel the wrath of the phoenix
nowhere to hide nowhere to run

rising from the ashes a world united as one
on September 11th the Phoenix was awoken

Meteorite Storm

The meteorites soared ahead,
Leaving behind a trail of electric blue,
As the spider wove its silvery web.

The leaves rustled in the breeze,
The eye stared down at me,
As the stars shone with all their glory.

Nocturnals creatures,
Out they came,
Awoken form their slumber to hunt.

The clouds crept across the sky,
The dew glistened on the grass,
As the meteorites soared ahead.
