I Await Thee

When thou art gone;
I sing my lonely song.

My waking hours are filled only with thoughts of thee.
When I sleep,
My dreams are filled with thee-
As I long for thee.

I await the tree of wisdoms fruit to grow.

The horizon is a wavering constant
Forever beckoning wherever we may be.
Outside, slow, slumbersome clouds
Roll into the valley green, leaving me
Searching for a meaning to the dreams
That keep me awake at night un-sleeping.

I await the tree of wisdoms fruit to grow.
I await to know the seeds of tomorrow.

I await winters snow to thaw,
As here I remain clawing
At the boundaries of sanity
That keep the ghost of vanity
A shadow ever present
As opposed to a fading
Memory in decent.

Blanket Syd

Here we are as smoke rings in the atmosphere stirred by our maidens
Churning, as spinning in orbit she incites gravity to push.
A rush of nightmares insist upon visions blurred,
I dreamt the night before last of otherworldly eyes beckoning
In the form I recognized as the girl for whom I longed.
A thousand girls have passed my way most without a smile to share,
Thronging in the nightmare riddled with familiar faces.
This girl she’s there beyond the stair fall, beyond dream time
Lost in reality skirting upon the edge as she wills the fall of
Restriction, dissolving friction in an instant, innocence beyond the
Keeping of youth’s grand adventure.

There lies another soul; a lover lost playing the fool.
There she lay begging to the camera, stammering whilst she feeds
From the pool of Apollo’s seed. What greed it is to witness, beyond the
Tendencies of the voyeur.

Dominant in submission, forget restrictions, let it ride.
The wave rises in flowing, I forget he moment, no regrets for the present.
Nowhere to hide, no need to run.

The Words we never say
"I'm so fragile, and so wrong"
And we're still knocking on the door
Of a world that's gone before

The Bakchesarian Fountain

A TALE OF THE TAURIDE.
Mute sat Giray, with downcast eye,
As though some spell in sorrow bound him,
His slavish courtiers thronging nigh,
In sad expectance stood around him.
The lips of all had silence sealed,
Whilst, bent on him, each look observant,
Saw grief's deep trace and passion fervent
Upon his gloomy brow revealed.
But the proud Khan his dark eye raising,
And on the courtiers fiercely gazing,
Gave signal to them to begone!
The chief, unwitnessed and alone,
Now yields him to his bosom's smart,
Deeper upon his brow severe
Is traced the anguish of his heart;
As full fraught clouds on mirrors clear
Reflected terrible appear!

Careless Words

Careless words clutter the galaxy,
Chunky tales have no end to their galaxy;
Yet enchanted we stand in this tallness,
Dazzling and bright are the stars for us.

Dear prizes await the distinct, as the galaxy
Shall suffer from them from time to time,
Direful consequences await the suffered,
Much time depresses us while we slaughter.

Extra-large thoughts clutter our stars with pain,
Deranged mad brains cluster as stars
In this field of vision, in this dead space.
I see delight and delicious food in the stars.
