Brain Division

In right-handers, languge flows freely;
Guns and arrows are attuned;
It makes for great drivers;
Makes for great divers;
Their flower arrangements
Are beautifully festooned;
Haughty also can they be in their derangements...

In left-handers we accentuate more,
Have grammar under the thumb;
See the horizon and know what's in store;
We can easily act the deaf and the dumb.

I am ambidextrous myself.

Ambidextrous!

Ambidextrous!
Trick and treat,
Amends,
Amusement,
But, i saw another person in the picture.

Trick, kick, lick, sick, pick, quick!
Aeon,
And, they ended up at the same place;
Muse, amused!

Mick, brick, Rick, Buick, flick;
And like crossing Louis River!
Adduce,
Age, adage!
And, as fast as anything.

Location, allocation!
Nick, wick, hick, stick, Vick;
And like the water from yesterday,

Dilemmanized

A choice to pick between happiness,
Or to be slick and wicked.
Dilemmanized am I and teased.
I prefer to keep my peace of mind at ease.
But in these times we live...
One has to be either ambidextrous,
Absorbed with sex and/or on sedatives.

To be alone and happy raises eyebrows.
Only deep depression and stress is allowed.
If I should be seen whistling and humming a song...
I am threatened by stares,
Feeling out of place like I am doing something wrong.

Dilemmanized am I and teased.
Either I am being crotched inspected,
Or reviewed to be sodomized to please.
And if I turn down invitations,
To discuss immoral temptations!
I become scrutinized...

Your Hair

Your hair, a city of chestnut brown
With locks resilient like hands, steady ambidextrous hands
And the chamomile bliss and breeze in the land,
Subtly sit like an orphaned child

Your hair, and the enticing air
Twisted and curled, devoured by a cicada
With pointed antenna beaming forward
Quantum leaps and celestial bodies reunited

Your hair, of soft and cozy feel
Buried me underneath the aroma
Of coffee-laced and inebriated mornings,
In the strands of the rays of the Sun,

Hanging by a thread,
Dwindling by the street lamps that flicker -
Ensconced in the premise of the night
And the eyes resembling a masked crescent moon

Mister Ebberman

In the bloodcurdling stretch of blind alleys
Akin to thawing sewers reeking with malice
A moniker, a sobriquet, his ambiguity hocked
Mister Ebberman, he sat like a frozen rock
A forlorn rummy with a violent brandy on his left
And on his right, a rod apt for a conceptual theft
Mister Ebberman, sober and pale as the liquor
Held his heart on the seams with flagrant squalor
Mister Ebberman mused past the stagnant river
Darker than the black bile of his abused liver
As he cajole to steadfast his ambidextrous hands
Trembling like the rocks of the floor, cold and bland

From under the river where winter rest its arms
And the albino sun forgot to provide with warmth
Mister Ebberman prayed in his vehement silence
He cowered and sighed for his river's decadence
Pensively, he waited amidst the toppling milieu
To reel in a fish and hope back in the view
Though his wan lethargic bait had failed to lure

To An Insolent Attorney

So, Hall McAllister, you'll not be warned
My protest slighted, admonition scorned!
To save your scoundrel client from a cell
As loth to swallow him as he to swell
Its sum of meals insurgent (it decries
All wars intestinal with meats that rise)
You turn your scurril tongue against the press
And damn the agency you ought to bless.
Had not the press with all its hundred eyes
Discerned the wolf beneath the sheep's disguise
And raised the cry upon him, he to-day
Would lack your company, and you would lack his pay.

Talk not of 'hire' and consciences for sale
You whose profession 'tis to threaten, rail,
Calumniate and libel at the will
Of any villain who can pay the bill
You whose most honest dollars all were got
By saying for a fee 'the thing that's not!'
To you 'tis one, to challenge or defend;

If You're Braver Than I Am

If you're braver than I am
it's only because you're more desparate you said
and I broke down laughing in tears
as you were tripping on mushrooms
and I was starting to peak on acid.
Why should you love me at all you asked
and I said I like to take subjective risks
and I can still light up at the smile you gave me
because you thought I thought you were dangerous.
Have you stayed dangerous over the years?
Did you ever find enlightenment?
Or have all those Doors of Perception we stepped through
way back then to expand our cosmic consciousness
by crossing all our thresholds
and dotting all our taboos
closed like space behind you?
Have you made your return address a point of view
you can live with
and turned those beautiful Hispanic eyes
into late night windows
