Quotes about alphabets
A Senseless Night
Do not know what is going to happen with my life?
Really, I have no idea and all that I can say is that I know nothing
It is late at night and I am just typing words on the keyboard
Trying to make sense by joining these alphabets
What do these alphabets mean?
Why am I trying to pen these words together?
Sense, what is the sense behind it all?
Basic meaning of it is what?
Actually, it is senseless
I have just gone berserk and that is all I know
Is there any sense behind these words, I do not know
Sensibility has lost its identification
A senseless night awaits me.

The Alphabets
I'm learning the alphabets
So I can write my name
I'm six years old, and I've been told
That learning can be a pain
My parents tried to teach me
With very little success
They thought they were cool, and put me in school
To learn from the very best
They drove me here to Jefferson
Way down on west fifth street
Your friends you won't miss, so don't dismiss
That this will be such a treat
But I wanted to learn the alphabets
Not be a famous brain surgeon
I'm just a kid, you're trying to get rid
And why is this seeming so urgent

Alphabetic Inspiration
When all else fails
The Economists look to
The alphabets for inspiration
Will the economic recovery be V shaped?
Yes indeed, say the very optimistic
With the stimulus package
There is only one way
That world economy can go and it is up
Not really, say the less convinced
It will probably be U shaped
The down-turn will stay for sometime
Before it slowly climbs up once more
Then come the zigzag theorists
The shape is more likely to be a W they cry
The economy having gone down
Will first go up and then down again
Before moving up with more confidence
Last but not least, are the die-hard pessimists
They believe that the mother of all depressions
Will not end in a hurry and have forecast an L shape

Ozymandias Ever Rising through the Winds of Time
Ozymandias Ever Rising through the Winds of Time
I met a poet from an online site
who said: 'Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
stand in my mind, yet find description quite
inadequate, half sunk beneath time flown.'
I answered: 'He whose sneer rei[g]ned cold command,
his sculptor too, are both to Lethe blown,
his passions mocked by who'd today demand
a résumé for tourists who bemoan
a lack of facts to show their pseudo friends
to back up their vacation time well spent,
and yet, and yet, so similar their ends
whose works turn sand when's finished sojourn lent.'
He came, he ruled, time fooled and conquered him,
trunk packed away museumwards on whim.
Nosy man dies as day draws down dark night,
knows he has but a finite span to moan
upon this Earth until, denied the right

I Refuse
I refuse to persuade any emotion to a poem
like a horse I can lead to water but can't make drink.
If it's a straitjacket it's a straitjacket.
When its a wet suit it's a wet suit
to go swimming with stars in. Tea leaves.
Yarrow sticks. Tarot decks. Incinerated match books.
I listen to a poem as if it were a response
to what I've said, and didn't say.
I like the counter play of voices and mine
one among them, the whole tree full of birds,
and the chatter of black squirrels in the walls.
Midway between a car starting up and a stanza break
when I write, I feel like a thief that stole the prison
under the warden's nose, and broke out through the window,
exhilarated by the bliss of getting away with my freedom.
I'm on an island alone with the moon.
And it doesn't matter if I was marooned
or just washed up here like a wounded paint rag.
My spine is smoke. I drift tribes away from the fires

All trees
I closely look;
My finding is this-
They all seem to know
Only 3 English alphabets! -
' I ', ' V ' and ' Y '!

Babel Soup
for poets
Dawn muse, difficult lover,
come hard through the
chimney trailing pages
and alphabets.
Babel soup for breakfast,
and strong black coffee.
Another wander in the wilderness
preserving the last match.

Defence Of The Seas
Defend him whenever he chooses a thought,
Defence is of dolphins with the seas of an oceanaut.
Guessing is my disease, offering me selection
Into the schools of marine life, in it is ablution.
Demand a schism with the land of animals too wise,
A wisdom decided itself from the awkward of allies.
My decision spelt mayhem for the oceans of surprise,
Alphabets are run in lipids of the surface to analyse.

Beast And Lovers
In the orbit, fear was invisible;
was not seeking anything, just wanted
to become a stone;
break my body into seven rocks,
each one becoming a rhyme
never to die;
said, I am, now, is, not mildewed
past, not grizzly future.
Every moment myself.
Tree, river, cloud and mount
become aboriginal alphabets.
Sun walks alone.
Behind the death, another miracle
seals the lips of a dumb;
Only eyes will speak now.

Great Mind
Is it feasible
When I babble
That I fanned fair
Alphabets at random in the air
And they came to caper
And settled on paper
In the form of the Muse—
A poem to use?
When even for this work of a dot
There exists a mind of sort
Is it tangible
To say ‘tis a gamble
That the stars in ether
At a random chance did appear
The Universe, Galaxies and Cosmos
All formed on their own from a mass?
