Lion's Pride

The Lion, He sits upon the mountain.
Watching over the pride, which is His joy.
Emotionless.
He shows no fear.
With Him, a calmness and peace.
He struts with confidence.
As he approaches the pride,
No one will challenge Him.
He is Alpha.
The true leader.
Both Trusting and trusted.
When confronted, it is not His pride He protects.
To protect His pride is foolish.
He knows He is Alpha
It is the pride,
The pride is for Him to sacrifice for.
The Lioness respects him
He is the head of the pride.
He loves Her and for the pride would lay down His life.
It is His cross to bear.

A Winter Pack

The wolves run in the night
Searching for something thats just out of sight
They hunt together on this frigid winter's night
Searching for food that will take the hunger away

The alpha stops, followed by his pack
Along a frozen lake shore is an elk
Who plays alone in the deep winter snow
The wolves are hungry they're ready for attack

The wolves circle 'round without a sound
The elk doesn't notice at all
One sharp yap and the wolves charge
The elk has fallen and tonight will be a feast

The alpha eats with hungry gazes upon him
When the rest of the pack eat it is time for sleep
But first the alpha howls and it rises through the pack
This is not a mournful hungry howl, but a joyus happy one

Running along the mountains
Feeling the air rush through me
Feel the earth under my paws
Running through the forest at night
My pack on my heels
Run faster and faster
My beta on my left

Feel the pull to the moon

Alpha Pair

Two wolves waited, no plans as yet, just watching time go by...
No enemies, no food to get, no need to fret or sigh...
The best of days that's ever been... thus they felt inspired.
The day seemed tranquil, calm, serene... all their hearts desired.
It was as if the alpha pair were blessed beyond belief.
As if true love was in the air, the air they two could breathe...
There were no fears in either face, no doubts in either mind.
Affection somehow took their place, all troubles left behind.
Two wolves fated, that they would meet, unite and learn to love.
To lead the pack as they compete to prove themselves enough.
For them, this world was all they had, they hunted to survive.
It's true, some thought of them as bad, yet they must stay alive.
It's Nature's way, the strong endure, outlasting all the weak...
It's live or die, by tooth and claw, eternal hide and seek.
The hunting game goes on and on, relentlessly, my friend...
It stays the same, it's never gone, each lives until life's end...
No wonder, then, that days like this are cherished one-by-one.
A perfect sky, a savoured bliss, both soothed beneath the sun.
It's not the time to intervene or taunt the alpha pair...
Leave well alone and don't be mean... or else you must beware!

Natural Selection for Friend Thad

I am a male an alpha plus.
My only purpose is to breed,
to sow the seeds of genius.
So that my offspring will succeed.

I am the leader of the pack.
No one is fit to take my place.
I have the wisdom which they lack.
I am the wolf who sets the pace.

We work together as a team

I have the wit to plan and scheme
