Quotes about alerting
A widespread taste for pornography means that nature is alerting us to some threat of extinction.

Be able to hiccup silently, or at least without alerting neighbors to your situation. The first hiccup is an exception.

Steering From the Helm
Steering from the helm.
I could be shifted and overwhelmed,
From the position I firmly stir...
As navigator.
Accustomed to unpredictable winds,
Alerting me to obstacles and oppostion...
I may face in preparation to brace,
This 'ship' I command.
And stand I do in anticipation,
To embrace Sun.
Freed and released from any tension,
If and when it should come.
Equipped with this in full acknowledgement...
That 'anyone' steering from the helm,
Could be shifted and overwhelmed...
From the position stirred,
As navigator!

Sakura Matsuri Cherry Blossoms in May
Sakura Matsuri Cherry Blossoms in May
Last night,
Listening to the raindrops
Pecking on the window pane,
alerting thought
celebrating spring
With lady goddess that makes
cherry trees bloom.
Night enters into day and
Immersed into the gay;
Garden exploes into patchs
Pink and white blossoms
sprinkling pink flakes for
adults and kids to take.
Cherry trees are expecting all…
Don’t you think so?

Where Shadows Fall
Behold the shadow at my back
As to the sun I face,
Just there behind and keeping track
And all my deeds to trace...
As if a witness without eyes
With records safely kept,
Of when I woke and then to rise
And then returned and slept...
Behold the shadow at my side
As by the sun I stood,
As if it were my conscience guide
Alerting to God's good...
As if a comfort on the way,
Companion, soulmate, friend...
Forever with me day-by-day
Until life's journey's end...
Behold my shadow dead ahead
As from Earth's sun I walk,

This Scene I Love
With a canopy of leaves high above my head,
I raise my eyes and see sunlit green and skies.
To this enraptured place my sad heart will return.
My footsteps make little sound, tramping the ground.
Occasionally a twig snaps beneath my boot,
alerting creatures, the singers and screechers.
They vanish off so very fast, with fear and dread.
A giant, me, thundering through harebells blue,
breaking all the new fronds in wild clusters of fern.
Disrupting the lives of insects, with dire affects.
Making the wise owl give out his warning hoot,
to all in this vicinity, who wish to flee.
There is rustling in this wood, where I’m calmly stood,
Just thrush and pigeon, chattering a smidgen,
as they fly into the high canopy above,
where sunlit leaves of green, bless, this scene I love.

Russian Recreation
He liked his Sunday afternoons,
only the privileged deserved
the sanctuary of a datsha
out in its splendid isolation.
Hot lava rocks, reflecting heat
of Northern Hemlock panels, grooved,
and twigs of birch, so tightly bundled
to beat the sweating hide, once in a while.
A splash of watery extract of Georgian Pine
onto the rocks, alerting with a rush
the breathing paths of those who rest,
while busy servants bring new buckets,
full of ice, and well-chilled steins with stems
to complement the elixir of life and limb.
Which is, in parts like these, called 'little water',
or Vodka, just to let you know the truth.
A burning skin, dilation at extreme

There Is Nothing Like It
I do the best I can to take heed to warnings.
And pay attention I try to do,
To observe those signs alerting me to obstacles...
On the road ahead as I journey through my life.
This I find is the right thing for 'me' to do.
And I do not advocate to others,
What I find for me is right.
I use to suggest and recommend.
But today...
After being told I believe I know 'everything'...
I say not a word when I see a boulder,
Rolling to endanger others.
My lips stay sealed.
I've learned from my own experience,
To jump clear out of the way.
And through this process...
My eyes have widened,
With an encompassing beyond given limits.

Earthbound for M lady Chitra lele
The geese fly south and leave behind
the bitter winter storms to come.
The gather, circle then they fly
a vee formation in the sky.
Exchanging leaders on the way,
almost as if a single mind
controls the flock mysteriously.
I watch and weep as they depart
I have no wings I cannot fly.
I am earth bound I can’t escape
the snow and ice which will confine me
with just my books for company.
Until my feathered friends return.
Their honking cries for which I yearn
will rouse me from my somnolence.
Alerting me to their presence.
I take my ink block and my brush
most carefully no cause for rush.
Inscribe my thoughts in black on white
to signify my great delight.
