Aether is etheric bliss immediate

A star in aether

Saying ''aether'',
He sang for aether with an eternal voice.
When I look to the sky,
I see the sun, the stars and the moon,
But in aether
I see a Sun never disappearing
And never stopping to shine.
And I think that Luciano Pavarotti
Is a star in aether.

Lament-O

I have lost you, that I know
all I know or need to-
one morning when my back was fro
you slipped away, you slipped away
and only quiet heard me call
that mocked and sent it to
a star, that slung it back, again.
If I could summon you to me
like the bird of falconry
acknowledging dependency
but unforgetful of the sky
captive both and amply free
happy, happy I would be.

When time and times run on ahead
and bring us all that times allow
and we are both at long last dead
oh, so many years from now
will I still see you flit ahead
through the aether, nimbly sped

Hypnos On Ida

[Iliad, B. XIV. V. 283]

They then to fountain-abundant Ida, mother of wild beasts,
Came, and they first left ocean to fare over mainland at Lektos,
Where underneath of their feet waved loftiest growths of the woodland.
There hung Hypnos fast, ere the vision of Zeus was observant,
Mounted upon a tall pine-tree, tallest of pines that on Ida
Lustily spring off soil for the shoot up aloft into aether.
There did he sit well-cloaked by the wide-branched pine for concealment,
That loud bird, in his form like, that perched high up in the mountains,
Chalkis is named by the Gods, but of mortals known as Kymindis.

A Virginal

No, no! Go from me. I have left her lately.
I will not spoil my sheath with lesser brightness,
For my surrounding air hath a new lightness;
Slight are her arms, yet they have bound me straitly
And left me cloaked as with a gauze of aether;
As with sweet leaves; as with subtle clearness.
Oh, I have picked up magic in her nearness
To sheathe me half in half the things that sheathe her.
No, no! Go from me. I have still the flavour,
Soft as spring wind that's come from birchen bowers.
Green come the shoots, aye April in the branches,
As winter's wound with her sleight hand she staunches,

On The Dark Height of Jura

I.
Ghosts of the dead! have I not heard your yelling
Rise on the night-rolling breath of the blast,
When o’er the dark aether the tempest is swelling,
And on eddying whirlwind the thunder-peal passed?

II.
For oft have I stood on the dark height of Jura
Which frowns on the valley that opens beneath;
Oft have I braved the chill night-tempest's fury,
Whilst around me, I thought, echoed murmurs of death.
