I'm always happy to have the President visit North Carolina. Unfortunately, the citizens of North Carolina who could be most adversely affected by the President's plan have not been invited to the discussion.

If I become defensive and upset right away, then that's going to adversely affect how I deal with it and it's probably not going to be good press for me and probably be bad just because I'm angry. Just be open and pleasant.

If it is widely assumed that the new President cannot move forward simply because of a narrow victory, there can easily develop a sense of unease and uncertainty, adversely affecting every sector of American society, our economy and the perception of other nations.

Prayer
Why should I pray
You have already given me
That you think fit
In natural way.
I am happy in this life
With all those you supplied
I know the world around me
Happy prosperous and peaceful.
I know meddling with nature
affect adversely.
Why should I pray
You have given me previously.

Through An Administrative Process
Stop and listen.
Learn and heal.
No one 'should' have their life,
Affected adversely...
By someone sitting behind a desk,
Making decisions as to who to destroy next.
Through an administrative process.
To affect one unsuspectong
One should first ask for a copy,
Of those records kept.
To review who has said what and why,
Before one allows oneself to get upset.
This will reveal comments intended to stay concealed.
And that person who deceives for whatever the reason.
Stop and listen.

Ostrich Men
Ostrich bury their heads on sand
Denying realities adversely at hand.
Ducking down the easy escape from light
Their sand holes cover obstacles from sight.
Some men in leadership may be ostrich men
They parlay the necessity to face truth and then
Mislead their countrymen in fatal delusions
All the while preaching their vague misconceptions.
Though warned and informed, they seem comatose
Unable with logic, to scrutinize, I suppose
The warnings were given but they failed so to act
Now they censure the information and hide all the facts.
What then do we do to these ostrich men?
I suggest cut their heads off, throw them out the pen.

There Was A Rooster
There was a rooster in the neighbourhood
Gallant, bouffant, royal
White like peace, valorously crowned
Droned to a victorious red beak
Clucking with a battle of chicks
His puissant, repetitive alarm..not a nuissance
To me alone sweet consonance
Whilst every note of his phrase
In uniform rhythmicity out from his beak
Wide open through thousand microphones
I used to be the staunch spectator
Recalling my bygone music
I used to be the admirer
To his crowing in gentle, genuine stance
I used to be the best critic of his concert..
Day and morrow rose timelessly often
By his crowing to the sun's dismay
Yet to all my admiration
Adversely he strangled me one day
His unusual alarm like that of a chit
