Quotes about admirably
A Jeremiad
As the swimmer propelled himself through the watery furrows
His arms thrashing admirably to clear a path
His legs churning admirably to push and be pulled
Into the vaccuum created by his sweeping arms
The cameras followed his course from every conceivable angle
Even-yes, even from below, leaving nothing to the imagination
The TV viewer being denied not a single drop
Not a single breath or gasp for air:
Such coverage is, indeed, admirable-
Nothing is left to the dull imagination:
To the dull imagination, thrashing away behind closed lids.
Nothing at all.
Soon, when there has long been nothing to imagine
When image replaces imagination, entirely,
When 'news' replaces reason entirely
When imagination is replaced entirely by technology
And reality by its virtual version
Imagination will prove an unnecessary, even risky, commodity
Soon the imagination will prove an encumbrance
And be forbidden completely by people with cameras and badges.

An Alliterative Amorous Answer
Alliterative Love Letter
Adored and angelic Amelia. Accept an ardent and artless amourist’s affections, alleviate an anguished admirer’s alarms, and answer an amorous applicant’s avowed ardour. Ah, Amelia! all appears an awful aspect! Ambition, avarice and arrogance, alas are attractive allurements, and abase an ardent attachement. Appease an aching and affectionate adorer’s alarms, and anon acknowledge affianced Albert’s alliance as agreeable and acceptable.
Anxiously awaiting an affectionate and affirmative answer, accept an ardent admirer’s aching adieu. Always angelic and admirable Amelia’s admiring and affectionate amourist, Albert
Wit and Wisdom 1826
An Alliterative Answer
Artless Amelia Acme’s answer adamantly admonishing artful Albert Acne’s announced amorous ambitions, and assertive advances, actively advocates appropriate alternatives. Also, attesting abhorrent Albert’s attempted abduction, Amelia asks an adequate aureate award. Advance “ amical ” arrangements are altogether abjured.
Adieu Albert!

Mixing one's wines may be a mistake, but old and new wisdom mix admirably.

...in song the words tend to lose their significance, do often lose it, while at the other extreme, in current prose it is the musical value that tends to disappear - so that verse stands symmetrically, as it were, between song, on the one hand, and prose on the other - and is thus admirably and delicately balanced between the sensual and the intellectual power of language.

Sense and Sensitivity 2010
Sense and sensitivity.2010
Big city life is not for me.
Too many minds impinge on mine.
Broadcasting thoughts quite randomly
that have no purpose or design.
the broadcast thoughts though unaware
that other people can receive.
I find such chaos hard to bear.
I must raise barriers to achieve
the peace of mind for which I yearn.
Leaves me no choice I must return
to rural life and peacefulness.
Though city life is not for me.
It may suit you admirably.

Am amorous night
An amorous night with you on my side
Walking on the seashore hand in hand
Engraving our love in the sand
The footprint fades, the milky foam engrosses
Touches million souls, echoing the tale
Silent glances exchange, no word is uttered
But everything is said, everything is understood
An enthralling conversation that could create an epic
The tides etches the saga, in the rocks
Softening the rocks, it sheds tears of joy
The breeze plays a mellow tune
Silent whispers magically sing
Moon the silent spectator, admirably acknowledges
And in this ardent vista, two souls merge slowly
And slowly they becomes one

Richard Cory
Whenever Richard Cory went down town,
We people on the pavement looked at him:
He was a gentleman from sole to crown,
Clean favored, and imperially slim.
And he was always quietly arrayed,
And he was always human when he talked;
But still he fluttered pulses when he said,
'Good-morning,' and he glittered when he walked.
And he was rich - yes, richer than a king -
And admirably schooled in every grace:
In fine, we thought that he was everything
To make us wish that we were in his place.
So on we worked, and waited for the light,
And went without the meat, and cursed the bread;
And Richard Cory, one calm summer night,
Went home and put a bullet through his head.

Posers and a Poseur
Posers and a poseur
The “ Princess” came from peasant stock
Which some would find to be a shock.
Her title was a fantasy
which was accepted readily.
By those who fawn on Royalty
The cream of high society,
who swallowed her flamboyant lies.
The may be rich but they’re not wise.
Her bold charade she could achieve
because they wanted to believe
They could hobnob with Royalty.
Just fools behaving foolishly
The took her as their protégée.
Which suited her admirably,
she took society by storm.
