Descending To The Lower Level

i do not have to waste words
for the stairs and
so i descended to the level of silence
my mind does the
acrobatics
but there is no way to amaze her
she is the one in love

Statisticians

What ruled the clowns of statistics?
Research? Effort? Pain? Or even acrobatics?
It is a thrust towards change, to upright pursuit,
To an end beleaguered by authority all absolute.
No doubt the rumour brought a schism,
And one of utter ruin, so much awesome.
A productive policy has been espoused,
It was said the policy was housed.
Yielding no statistics is a game for feeders,
But the principles are as copious as acres.
Who are the statisticians? And what do they do?
Their policies are strict and everything is true.

True Realities

The birds spread their wings
and close it almost simultaneously
as they sail with the wind
the dogs bark violently
to proclaim their territory
the horse throws its fist
stands on two hooves
and makes a picture of a muscular man modeling
the spider monkeys do superb acrobatics
but had never been a gymnastic medalist
the Lion roars
the Cock crows
but the Frog croaks
even the goat is foolish but does not know
and the Lizard nods as if it understands everything that goes
knowing these, Humans go on with their daily activities
forgetting God's love and His blessings
His hate for sin and judgement
and mostly His daily requirements

Late Meditation

Night again, and I'm not impressed:
the blurred cedar, blowzy in her black dress,
the bat's manic acrobatics -- he tries too hard --
the hooligan raccoon routing in the brush,
and above all this the familiar, gaudy
glitter of the stars. Once I felt invited
to praise these things. Once I felt obliged.
Inviolable night, I said. Love's rustling curtain.
My hornbook, my slow ship to stow away on.
It took a long time to discover night
is a slate one writes on with the chalk
of desire. Look. The moon is thin as a dime.
It goes, and the sun comes up shrunken, low,
something to poke with a broom
and plunk, hissing, into a water bucket.
What I said, I'd like to take it back.

Shared Like Gifts

It is still a Dutch colony.
With those who control it...
Coming to go,
To inflict their racial acrobatics.

It is divided by invisible fences.
With those of ethnic faces
Displaying their daily infighting defenses.
And there is funding for everything done.
To ensure comprehension...
Is something never to be understood,
With understanding that comes.

They want them at their dumbest.
And that is preferred and accepted.

And those of color who have ever contributed?
The great deeds they have done...
Have been from this place 'booted'.
As if they had made none!

Generation Gap That Snaps

I a m too over-aged
for adventures and acrobatics
but, self-taught, learned, the best single-judge
always prudent and practical and of matured edge.

but I find myself so badly side-lined
by my sons, on the plea of generation wideness
a few tiny, immaterial, exterior physical changes
are quoted as reasons for our total rejections

Truth, discipline, duty, obedience and values
are the ‘standing orders' for all the ages
your petty life - span of fifty or eighty
cannot bestow in you the powers to alienate

The way the present generation grows and
the horrible foot-prints their descendants would follow
the civilization stands now in a dangerous cross-road
the actual countdown then begins for its TOTAL DOWNFALL.

Dare-Devils of the Sea

The Acrobatic ‘Man-Bird-Fish! '

Man flies in air wingless, ‘bird-like’!
Man swims in water like a fish;
Man acrobatics monkey-like;
Man does most things as per his wish!

Man dives from cliffs and rocks so high,
And floats a moment just swan-like,
Taking risks, unafraid to die,
Plunging head-down, into the sea!

Cliff-diving is a thrilling sport,
Courageous and perilous;
The daring ones make it their forte;
Now swimming pools look courteous!

In three seconds, they touch the sea;
The entry-splash looking, so neat
A spectacle, incredibly.

Acrobatics

As Berlin they put up a Paradise Wall
Because the escapees are much more
Than earlier to hell as it seems the standard of living there goes high.
When we sing together myself & Beloved
I noticed the Captain's marveled! '

This year is going to be finished very soon
And I think of the Senior Citizenship.
They say at the age of Sixty five
You're qualified for the Knighthood here!
I dream If I get the oath
With my beloved I do a round trip
Around the fabulous World!
And I'll speak to the Captain of the ship 'Tsunami'
That I go as a working passenger
And my beloved makes tasty soups
As same as spicy foods.
*Also she could sing well
And I do my usual strumming on Banjo!
If Captain asks 'Can you dance? '

Reflections Of The Silent Man In The Office

this is not a matter of search
anymore
but an addiction a routine
that you take day by day
because you have no one to talk to
or if some people enter your door
and talk to you
it is nothing but the objectivity
of a certain
professional determination
no one talks about directions here
or the significance of
a thought
or the finding of the correct meaning
of life
everyone is preoccupied with
problems and there seems to be
no solution anymore that
clicks to what must be or ought to be
people are crazy
